Pathetic service and very rude staff. Stayed in their Mahabaleshwar property (Hill and valley view resort from 21st Dec to 24th Dec 2019) and its a real horror and torture. No internet (thts ok as it was mentioned earlier during the time of booking), no TV, not even a water-jug in the room. Moreover there was no place from where we can get the drinking water except the packed bottle purchased as extra. No staff was there except just a caretaker. Even nobody was at the reception. For the soap and towel also we need to ask for many times. Reaching the hotel itself is a horrific journey (the problem was exaggerated as the road construction was going on) and after so much trouble when we reached in the afternoon we got this type of service. when we called the caretaker Subash he told that the dinner is 150 INR per person. so we ordered 6 plates and in return we have got a vegetable in one small bowl and soup of dal (so-called dal) and 3 serving spoons of rice and 10 chapatis among 6 person in 900 INR (see the attached pics). when we ask the caretaker Subash about the quantity of food for 6 people he said he will give that much quantity only for 6 people. I frankly still dont know how this much food which costs 900 INR is sufficient for 6 adult people. Anyways he said if you want more food then you need to pay extra and he will keep this thing in mind from next day onwards. But when we got the breakfast in the next morning (which was included in our stay) i was surprised to see that he just made 6 plates poha and nothing else. Even a worst category hotel provides 2 to 3 options in breakfast. When i was booking the hotel, the price difference between the room only and room with breakfast was around 1000 INR per day for 6 people. So in short i paid 1000 INR for just poha which he bought in less than 40 INR. Moreover, that poha was also served without spoon when I asked about the spoon then I was asked the 3rd time that how many people i have booked. I dont know what magic their rooms have but everytime you ask for something the caretaker asked the same question about the no of booking. Its like their rooms are generating the humans and number of persons increasing. Then I called one of their executive Palak which got transferred to Mr Rahul. now I am not sure whether the page is managed by Rahul only or there is somebody up but i will still write the whole conversation with Rahul. First he told me that he doesnt have any idea about my booking and what it includes and etc as the property was taken over by DMS recently (eventhough I got a confirmation call by same Rahul 5 days earlier on 17th Dec 2019). He told me to write all the issues on his watsapp with pics, which i did but then he got silent. I called him at least 20 times that day but his phone was not reachable or he didnt responded. The last response was that i will try my best to resolve the issue ASAP but that never happened. as there is not even a single shop within 2 km radius of the "RESORT" we have to order the dinner there only. The next day he served the upma in breakfast and when i asked for the spoon, he again asked the number of persons booked. This time I called Rahul in front of him and Rahul told me that he is looking into the matter and will give the best solution. This way he spent 2 days and done nothing. On the final day he didnt even provide the breakfast as i said we dont want poha and he said that they can serve only poha. Then i called Rahul again to enquire about his best possible solution and then he said that he cant do anything and as you have paid everything so your booking is over and you just leave the so-called 'RESORT'. when i said i didnt make the advance payment for these services he said that I need to talk to the previous owner of the "RESORT". Then I talked to one MOHIT who Subash and RAHUL introduced as the previous owner and that guy was so rude that he started abusing on the phone and when my wife took the phone then he also started abusing her. He said that breakfast was complimentry and its the RESORT who will decide the quality and quantity of the food served. he further said that if you have so many problems then you should have left the RESORT on the first day itself. He further threatened that if you dont leave ASAP then he will tell the staff to lock the RESORT. then finally we went to the tourist Police. The Best part is I paid almost 1200 INR as GST but I was told that the RESORT doesnt even have the GST number. So they are doing financial fraud which I also wrote to Ministry of Finance that the RESORT is charging GST without having the GST number. So naturally when i asked for the GST receipt, I was not provided that too. so please stay away...
