We keep coming back here because we are so well looked after. WE come down to see our grandson, but our daughter and her partner do not have room to accommodate us. Check in and check out here is very easy. We were given a suitable room for my particular needs. We were helped with our luggage and the proximity of disabled parking to the entrance is a great bonus. Our grandson sat with us for breakfast and the incomparable Julie produced a high chair and ensured we were seatedin a suitaable location. She always has a smile of greeting and is a great asset on the breakfast team. I was also pleased to see Simona back, as we met her in the past and she will always go out of her way to be of assistance. While right next to the A2, we have never heard traffic noise from inside the hotel. On our prevous visit we received a penalty for using the car park, despite being registered at the hotel. I phoned Reception, who were profusely apologetic and immediately arranged for the penalty to be rescinded. Things can wrong but, when notified, staff at this hotel work hard to put them right.

I went with my family for a Sunday lunch booking a week in advance and when we arrived where left standing for 10 mins trying to get someone’s attention then for another 10 mins they couldn’t understand if we did or didn’t have a booking after showing them are booking email in the first place. We where then told that they only had burgers or chicken on the menu. I would rather have a McDonald’s drive - thru than step in to this dingy dated unwelcoming pub again!! If you want a nice Sunday dinner don’t go here!!

The Hotel is a family run business, The building is a splendid example of late 17th century domestic architecture. The building is Grade II listed and has been converted into a small 14 bed hotel. A number of the rooms have the main features but have also been modernised a little. All rooms are spacious and have there own individual character.
We started with a self check in, which began with a text message with all the information needed. Once in the room we were checked on via text which I liked. The room was beautiful, old wooden beams, spacious, a lovely bed, storage for clothes and a warm bathroom. Only criticism would be that there could be more milk and sugars available as we only had one tea each and there was more available with coffees but only enough sugar and tea for one. Location was great, right in the middle of restaurants, pubs.. But my favourite was the building itself. We stayed in room 7 which felt particularly privet, a great getaway for a couple.

Julius Lodge has various sites located in the hearts Abbeywood and Erith which are very easily accessible to the heart of London and various tourist attractions. With a two star rating, Julius Lodge is a family run and self catering accommodation which is suitable for singles, business, families and anyone visiting London. Our accommodations are situated very close to restaurants, convenience stores, buses, and train stations, making it accessible from all main London attractions.
I stayed here for 2 nights and Julius the owner picked me up at Abbey Wood Station and took me to the Lodge, Im glad he picked me up it was in the middle of nowhere and I would have never have found the place, The room was small and basic with a shared shower which you could not regulate the temperature always very hot and in a morning there was cereals, bread and tea and coffee to help yourself too, I asked Julius if there was any take away services for meals locally he says not so had to walk 30 mins to the nearest store Sainsburys for something to eat, Its located in the middle of an undesirable housing estate like Nelson Mandela House in the middle of nowhere ie Thamesmead I would not stay there again due the reasons explained,
