Reviewed By StadskerelIn fact, Brugnola1932 is an animal rescue for a beautiful group of lucky animals. It also offers a vegan bed & breakfast with the option to eat there in the evening as well. It is located in the beautiful region of the Italian Appenines mountains in the Bardi area, province of Parma. The nature in the area is wild, full of walks connecting small villages. It was a much needed breath of fresh air for the lungs and the mind. Our dog was more than happy being there with us. Manuela and Gilberto use organic products of the area, as well as their own fruit and veggies. They reinvent traditional dishes of the Emilia Romagna and Tuscany areas taking it all to another, vegan level. Everything was delicious and made by heart: the gnocchi, the home made pasta and seitan, the burtleina, farinatas, crostatas, risottos, cole soups, an amazing roast, the desserts and a long etcetera. The mix and balance of flavours and herbs made us always curious what would be the next treat. We thank them with all our heart for the warm stay the three of us had at their place. I know we will meet again! Grazie per tutto!

Le Sei Dame is a bijoux hotel with just six rooms situated at the feet of the magnifiscent Castle of Bardi. The six rooms, all beautifully decorated, have ensuite bathrooms with complimentary products, free wi-fi and flat screen tv. The restaurant, 'Ristorante Le Due Spade', run by the same proprietors, specializes in traditional dishes made to a high standard and boasts guests such as Prince Albert of Monaco, Princess Doria Landi Pamphili and Brunello Cucinelli . Just one hour from the cities of Parma and Fidenza and about two hours from the Ligurian riviera, Bardi is a lovely place to relax and appreciate the unspoiled landscape of the Apennines, enjoy some good food and wine and just chill.

Reviewed By Rachel BLe sei dame is the most perfect place to stay in the heart of bardi town centre, Daniela couldn’t be a better hostess, having arrived to Bardi late on a Sunday afternoon and our accommodation failing us, with 2 children in tow, Daniela welcomed us with open arms to one of her beautiful rooms where we enjoyed 4 nights in bliss. The bedroom was decorated beautifully and the modern bathroom was completed to the highest standard. Our beds were made and new towels were provided daily. Breakfast was a added extra and was absolutely lovely and plentiful in the restaurant right outside the b&b front door. The restaurant it self ‘le due spade’ is wonderful and we have enjoyed many family meals over the years which never disappoint! Le sei dame is what Bardi really, really needed; an up to date, luxurious place to stay, where you can soak in the beautiful sights of Bardi in comfort and style.

Reviewed By redwineman99Beautifully restored buildings and a fantastic kitchen. Stopped overnight prior to walking in the hills the following day. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Everything home cooked and prepared, bedrooms are comfortable and warm even on a cold November day.

Reviewed By Henez11Amazing service, very nice rooms and amazing staff. Would highly recommend. Located in the centre of Bardi and is surrounded by outstanding views. The rooms and unique and traditional but modern toilets and heating/ air con systems.

It's positioned in the mountain's so if you want peace and quite then this place has it by the bucket load Igino who's owns the B&B is such a lovely guy and knows the area well even though he is from Lake Garda. Bardi itself is about 10. mins away. This was our 3rd visit to this B&B and would recommend
