Posada Ochohermanas is located in the region of the high Besaya, in the broad Valley of Iguña, right in the geographical center of Cantabria and next to the Saja-Besaya Natural Park. Superbly connected by highway to the best resources in Cantabria, to which access by an average of 30 minutes. We have 11 rooms of various types, double, family, j-suites, and one of them adapted for disabled people. Ochohermanas is proud of our land, and we are happy to advise travellers who need suggestions about what to see, do or visit.

Reviewed By glabru844172Our hosts made us most welcome and were very helpful in every aspect. Even though we arrived too early for our check in due to our ferry arriving early (this was re scheduled as original time revised due to weather conditions) we were made most welcome and we were permitted to check in our bags and due to assistance found a restaurant and everything we needed.

Reviewed By mohawkredbullStopped here on our way back to Santander. Find it via Booking.com and very pleased. We had a room in the roof, which had plenty of character. Beds comfortable, good sized bathroom and decent shower. Breakfast was also fine. Beautiful old building with plenty of character. Has it’s own bar, but we did not arrive until 23:45 so too late to sample. Would stay here again.

Reviewed By elenafaWe spent a night here after arriving by ferry in Santander. An interesting house, immaculately clean and a comfortable bed. Parking was directly outside the house and the optional breakfast was 3 Euros with very nice homemade chocolate cake. The only downside was the lack of hot water. We didn't complain as everything else was good and it may have been an oversite. Would stay again.

Reviewed By joancolillesVenta hornizo is a bed and breakfast rural hostel in a little town surrounded of forest and green fields. We were looking for a quiet area and we found it. The breakfast was great. Nice buffet with fresh orange juice, toasts, butter, jelly, homemade cakes. coffee,.... We also were ordering "a la carte" somedays and was no problem at all without extra charge. It was possible to order dinner at the dinning room or at the bedroom with a great menu. Mss. Marisol was an excellent guide. Everyday she recomend what to visit, how to organize our day and the way she dealed with us was so great. We felt like at home. We absolutly recomend that place not only for the place but also for the excellent treatment received.
