This inn is located right off the road in the middle of Arecibo and easy access to see all the local attractions. Honestly, I selected this inn based on the ocean waves crashing onto the back porch of the room. It's incredibly beautiful! You can see both the sunset and sunrise over the ocean right there. The room was extremely comfortable. My husband and I being of a certain age were concerned about the room being cool enough during the night. It was nice and chilly. There was a little kitchenette in the room as well which made it very convenient. We stayed here for two nights and everything was perfect. I highly recommend staying here when visited Arecibo.

Arecibo Inn offers 39 rooms and a house villa, that can vary from 2 guest up to 6 guest per room. Two pools, restaurant and beauty salon. Located in Road #2, 3 minutes away from Highway 22, and 5 minutes to beaches and Arecibo Historial Town; also 7 and 10 minutes away from Arecibo Lighthouse & Historical Park and Christopher Columbus statue respectively. All Rooms includes full breakfast based on occupancy.
Not even sure where to start. Walls are paper thin & you can hear EVERYTHING the person doing & saying in the room behind & in front of you. Beds were HORRIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE & not even sure if you could truly call it a bed. Although I was booked for 2 nights…I left after my first night & WILL NEVER GO BACK! The hotel is clean when you walk in but with 2 young daughters, I was afraid of staying any longer.

Ventana al Atlantico is a family-owned and operated oceanfront boutique hotel on the northern coastal highway 681 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. The property has amazing ocean views, an infinity pool, a wooden boardwalk for taking in the ocean breeze, a bbq area and just a few steps down you'll be on the sand where you can walk along the shore to a secluded beach. Each room has comfortable bedding, a private bathroom, AC, TV, WiFi, a kitchenette with all the basic tools and equipment and some even feature amazing ocean views from private balconies.
I have never seen a hotel in such disrepair anywhere. Filth and trash everywhere. The room had stains on the walls, dust all over the place, broken chairs and tables. The bed covers were stained as well as the towels and the bed had tons of human hair on it. We complained and he said it was clean hair on the bed because the sheets had been washed! We couldn't believe his answer. We refused to stay because it was unsanitary, but he didn't return our money. Nothing boutique about this place. Avoid at all costs.

Not worth $99 There is no sign in front of the rental to identify it. We tried to call the number listed on Expedia but it went straight to voicemail and had a message that the mailbox was full. We had to ask a few locals who were unsure but eventually pointed us to the right place. Be sure to read the email you are sent as there is no office or staff and the email has the security code to obtain the key. We are attaching a photo to help future guests. If you have ever lived in a developing country, this will be a step up. However, if you are looking for all of the ordinary conveniences of a hotel, you may be disappointed. The toilet does not work unless you fill the tank with water every time (we used the garbage can to do so) No hot water in either sink to wash your face or dishes. No bath soap. We had to use the antibacterial hand soap. Water in shower is comfortably warm if you turn it to the cold setting, but if you are hoping for a hot shower, it's not possible. Also there was hair clogging the drain from previous guests. We removed the hair but it still drains very slow. Room was very hot when we arrived although the AC was on. We left for dinner for 2 hours and upon return, it was still quite warm. Eventually cooled down at night. We stayed in the room at the rear of the property. We recommend backing in as it is very difficult to see if you have to back out of the property.
