Absolutely Horrendous.
Reviewed By Dubh2022Just returned from a two night stay here and to say that we were disgusted is putting it mildly, the hotel is absolutely filthy inside and out with not even basic hygiene practices in place, The bedrooms are very very basic and dated and certainly not worth a fraction of what they are charging for them. We will certainly never return there again and would never recommend it to anyone.

Reviewed By samwatkinsonWe stayed with our caravan it is walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Lovely little site with all conveniences, very clean hot showers and toilet area. Fully equiped kitchen if required. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It's perfect for exploring the stunning Achill island.

I received the warmest of Achill hospitality throughout my stay in the utterly spotless surrounds of the Anvil. The location is excellent, the beds very comfortable and the shower was just what I needed after long days of exploring the area. This is a five star B&B at prices that are very modest. So impressed with the stay that I came away with a return date in mind.

Reviewed By LiamG255Had a great stay here. Stephen was a great host. Cottages was very comfortable and clean. We found the location great for the greenway and also if you want to explore more of Mayo and Achill, its a good access point.
