Top 6 Hostels hotel in Naples, Italy

April 26, 2023 Renato Branum

Romantic Naples, two hours south of Rome, is the largest city in southern Italy. It has some of the world's best opera and theater houses and is often called an open-air museum, due to its many historic statues and monuments. Join families on the promenade as the sun sets on the Bay of Naples. View finds from Pompeii and Herculaneum, destroyed by Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D., at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale or revel in the art and architecture of Museo Cappella Sansevero, built in the late 1500s.

Naples Experience Hostel

Naples experience hostel is a backpacker's paradise. My name is Alessandro and with my family we offer cheap dormitory accommodation and experiences to get you to know Naples better. I'll send you a welcome message after your booking with directions on how to get to the hostel. Once at the reception I'll explain the map of Naples and ask mom to make you an espresso if you wish, My father is a driver and every day we organize sightseeing tours in Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento. Upon returning, mom will cook a typical Neapolitan pasta dish. We will eat on the terrace, so we can have a nice cool drink at our bar and meet people from all over the world. But at 11pm we close the patio, because many guests go to the airport the next day and need to sleep. But surely you will want to go out, so my brother Francesco will organize a Pub Crawl with all the guests to discover the nightlife of Naples. There is always something to do. The Naples experience Hostel will be your second home. Enter as a guest, leave as a friend. You will never forget us. In fact, very soon ... You will be back.

Friendly and helpful staff, good value.

Had a very pleasant stay here in April 2022, the staff were all amazing and super helpful. Room was clean and the services were sufficient/what you would expect from a hostel. Location is a bit quiet, good for sleeping but a bit of a walk into the centre of town.

Difficult to find.

This is not an easy place to find being in a small side street which in turn is off another small side street. When you approach, you get reminded of the opening sequence of HMP Slade at the start of the BBC sitcom "Porridge" with the big iron gate! It isn't until you actually get to the gate do you actually see the sign on one of the pillars advertising the hotel! The building in which it is housed has very obviously seen better days, but once in the hotel, it is quite modern. The rooms are functional and quite comfortable, but a couple of things are curious: Why was there aircon in the small sitting room, but not in the bedroom where it was needed? Why do most of the electrical sockets not accommodate standard Italian adaptors? Why can you only have 2 x breakfast items? Breakfast arrived 15 x late, by the way! Why wasn't there a safe? Staff were very friendly and I don't think you could fault them. Whole experience was ok for what it was, but average at best.

if you look at the building you'll never know this lies within. its bang in the middle of the street next to the main station but you still have to look for it. but if you book they give you good instructions on how to get in. simpel place, mixed dorm had bunk beds, my wife stayed in the girls dorm with single beds. they serve decent breakfast in the morning. there are shared loos like in any hostel. there were many other travellers too. we were only there for a short while so thats about it. its quite central so there were many places to see and eat at nearby.

What a wonderful B & B and hostel. Only steps away from the Central Metro station and surrounded by bars/cafes, pizzerias, and restaurants during the evening and fresh fruit and fish markets during the morning hours. They have chef on staff who is available to prepare lunches by reservation. Or, you Can prepare your own meals in the common are kitchen. You have a choice to have breakfast or not and you get an additional 5 Euros discount. There is a shuttle you can reserve to take you to the airport for a fee of 25 Euros. This was 5 to 10 Euros than what the cab tried to charge. The rooms were extremely clean and very well maintained. The young lady that is in charge of house cleaning we wonderful and so sweet. Tihe other staff members were also amazing and willing to help in any way they can. The receptions spoke English, so it made transactions smooth. This was the best price in town and the low cost does not reflect the high value and superb customer service that s provided...
