I have just returned from a great trip to Cerro Tronador with Natural Travels which was lead by Juan Carlos. Could you please pass on my gratitude to him as his tour was very informative, interesting and a lot of fun! I understood whilst booking that it was in fact a Spanish speaking tour, however since there were a few English speakers on the tour, Juan went the extra mile to translate key pieces of information to us in English, even though we didn't ask him to do this. I also understand that it is customary to pay extra for an English speaking guide with other tours during booking, so this was a bonus-many thanks. A very enjoyable tour, many thanks Juan Carlos and Natural Travel!

This walking tour was very good. The guide was very knowledgeable and very fluent in Spanish and English (he may even know other languages but those were the languages of the group). He was very informative and gave plenty of time for questions. We did it the last day we were in Bariloche, otherwise we would have gone on one of his other walking tours covering other issues.

The experience of discovering how german speaking immigration shaped the town look & feel, the architecture, and the mountain sports culture since the begining of times. This set the basis for the arrival of the last wave of immigation including the nazi presence (Erik Priebke). This also triggered some stories about Hitler living in the area. We wil explore evidence of all the above.

This is a controvertial topic. We will discover Patagonia indigenous people’s history and present while walking through Bariloche downtown. Who are they? How is their culture? When and how did they arrive? How did the European colonization impacted on them? And how did the expansion of Argentina state into Patagonia? What is their current status?

The opportunity to see the glaciers up close and to trek on them was definitely a bucket list activity! From the moment you strap on those crampons, you know you are in for a once in a lifetime experience. The guides were great and you even finished the trek with a glass of whisky on glacier ice. This was not a strenuous trek so I think anyone could take it on - we even saw a man who seemed to have cerebal palsy and he had two guides assist him and was able to complete the trek.
