Budget Transfer provided a personalized, throughly planned, well thought-out six day trip. They are far more than just a "transfer" company. Dražen (as driver) and Rafaella (as guide) were with me every step of the way, answering questions and being great travel companions. :) Rafaella was knowledgeable on so many subjects: Croatian history, current life in Croatia, and she was truly a pleasant and educational personality throughout all situations. My desires were fully taken into account, and I never felt led to do what the company might benefit from (as is often the case with guided tours) - everything was fully customized to what I wished to do & see. And where I chose to leave the details up to them, they were completely handled, with ease. I requested a tour covering a lot of ground and wanted to see many cities, and that we did! We kept moving and I saw so much more than I ever could have on my own. All the tickets, ferries, and timing was perfectly planned. Krk island - The Golden island. First, we take you by boat to the small islet of Košljun where we will visit the Franciscan monastery, the greatest cultural and museum centre of Croatia. You will see varied collections of ethnography, archaeology, sacral art, a vast library, etc.Then we will visit the city of Krk. As you walk through the old town, you can see Illyrian ramparts, the Frankopan castle and Krk Cathedral. Later we visit Vrbnik, most famous for its widely known white wine - Vrbnička žlahtina. You will have the opportunity to taste homemade prosciutto, cheese and wine in a unique local tavern.

We were at Plitvice lakes and we can say that plitvice are one of the most beautiful places in the world. It was snow and every lake on Plitvice was covered with snow. The pictures say it all.

5. Private Full-Day Trip to Krk From Pula with Prosciutto Tasting
We will start this full-day excursion from hotel in Pula. The road to the city of Krk takes around 2 and half hours. First, we will have sightseeing of Krk. During the sightseeing you will learn that Krk is fortified town even today dominating by cathedral’s complex. After the sightseeing you will have some free time for souvenirs or drinks. We continue towards the House of Krk’s prosciutto where you will have a tasting of local products. Transfer back to hotel in Pula.
