Inner Harbour

This scenic patch of waterfront is the location of Victoria's many tourist attractions, recreational activities, restaurants and shopping. For a special treat, have afternoon tea at the grand Empress Hotel or board a ferry for a harbor tour.

The Inner Harbour is the highlight of any visit to Victoria. Its a perfect place to walk around as there is a pathway around the whole harbour. From here there is a wide selection of shops, restaurants and bars and is the perfect place to watch the float planes and cruise ships visiting the harbour. Here you can watch the water taxi's travelling around the harbour and people out rowing in the harbour. From here you can walk to Chinatown and the main shopping areas, visit the museums and view historic sites like the hotels and Government buildings, Its a perfect place to watch the sunset , and a walk around at night reveals stunning views of the parliament buildings lit up at night

Air Park

This is an amazing park to go visit with your family and friends of all ages! It's A serene calm place to go for a nice walk , bike ride, or even roller blade. There is a wonderful little cafe in the beginning of the park that has small snacks to eat coffee and ice cream. Watching all of the small planes, single engine mostly karma coming in to land and taking off is lots of fun and makes for great conversation. I would highly recommend coming to the Courtenat Air Park any time of year and you're guaranteed to see lots of migratory birds and the Trumpetor swans are just beautiful!

Old Town

This historic part of town, once the center of Victoria's shipping and fur trading businesses, is now filled with important landmarks and specialty shops offering British, Scottish and Irish imports.

The walk from the Inner Harbour along ether Government or Wharf streets is a walk into the past featuring old buildings and landmarks mixed with the new and trendy - pubs, restaurants and souvenir stands dot the route. A great locale to people watch.
