Visit one of four Chimelong theme parks for thrills and chills. We really loved our visit here. Hard to believe it is in the middle of the city. You walk in and go back 2,000 years. Amazing to see the craftsmanship and how they engineered the city. Wells that used sand to filter water and dams to control water. We spent about 2 1/2 hours. Lots of English signs to read.

So very pleased to find this "ancient village". Easy to access, having different gates. The map provided gives you a great layout of the place. A very pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere whilst walking along the narrow streets, stopping to admire the historical past and learning about traditions. There are an abundance of shops and eateries and two beautiful shaded squares where one can sit and people watch. Spent 5 hours here and I will definitely go back again. It is a free entry; however, if you want to go into the 4 "halls" you need to have a ticket.

The large, well located park covers about 115 acres/ 46 Hectares and, is divided into four sections-- highlighting Guangzhou's and China's history, wonderful statues, sculptures and a forest. It is China's largest "sculpture themed" Park. It also emphatically demonstrates the "synergistic interaction" between "Nature and Art"! There is no entrance fee and the cost of the Metro is about 2-3 Yuan. It is an attraction which will add to one's" more pleasant" and interesting memories of Guangzhou and China!! I hope that this Review has been helpful.

MiaoQianBingShi - Hope and Sesame Speakeasy and Jazz Bar

Hope & Sesame is a chic and modern Chinese cocktail bar in Dongshan, Guangzhou. A traditional Cantonese snack bar houses it's secret entrance. We open everyday, from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am with jazz live concert. Booking is strongly advised for any nights as our venue is fairly small. We have two rounds of reservation: 7pm until 10pm and 10pm onward. Our menu evolve every 4-5 months, we strive to offer something very unique with an ever revolving theme, however, more traditional drinks are available any time. We offer a small selection of bar snacks to fill the gap.
