We had a family meal at The Olive Tree before going to the Cliffs Paviliion, the waitresses were very friendly and attentive. The food was good and the restaurant is very convenient for the theatre. A bit expensive for fish and chips though and perhaps only this price due to the close proximity to The Cliffs?

I love the food here. The breakfast are incredibly tasty and also exceptionally generous for a really good price. Itâs so cheap for so much.Theyâve recently had a mini makeover and itâs looking smart. Iâd like to come and try it when itâs a Moroccan restaurant in the evening.Itâs full of locals when you visit mid week, and it felt like they had first dibs on service, as it was quite slow when we came, it felt like we were seated for 15 minutes before we were asked for our order and then to pay, we waited for a while then too, in fact there was a queue. Great that they are busy though and staff are lovely.

Route5 was born from our passion for good food and fine dining and from our will to open a place where the high tradition of Sicily and Abruzzi cuisine blends. All fresh pastas, bread and desserts are made in our kitchen following true regional traditions
This restaurant is incredible. The food, the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff were all great. Our party were transported back to Sicily where we had enjoyed a lovely holiday last year. As the restaurant is small it can be a bit noisy but this is a sure sign that the diners are all enjoying themselves! I too would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

Having received some excellent customer service in their small shop are (at the back of the restaurant) we decided to pay them a visit for an evening meal.We arrived relatively early and the place was nearly empty - but within half an hour it was full (if you wish to go on a Friday or Saturday booking seems essential). The food had plenty of variety and was lovely, hot and fresh. Although they have slightly cheaper wines, the Thai wine was very good. The service was excellent! We'll be going back and taking friends with us!
