Wonderful restaurant where the food is cooked with love and care. The only thing to surpass it was the outstanding service and helpfulness of Margaret who not only made us feel so welcome but also advised perfectly on where else to eat on the following days when Pigeon was to be closed. The cellar is cute and the whole experience really good.

If you like ribs...book it. All you can eat, cant go wrong. Chilli and bbq sauces on the ribs were lovely. Meat fell off the bones. My stomach literally hurt from eating so much. Seemed to be fully booked so make sure you book in advance as unlikely to get a seat otherwise.

Saturday evening 9 o'clock, almost every restaurant already closed and 3 hungry girls searching for food. The only one who let us in was the greek owner of this beautiful little restaurant. And what a luck! We had the most amazing sea food platter and met the most lovely crew on that weekend. Excellent house wine as well! They gave us an excellent advice for a bar to have a drink afterwards :) We will be back! Thank you guys

Ten Doele

We had a super delicious meal in Ten Doele, a very good looking interior which is way above the typical "stuff as many tourists as possible" restaurants you find in blankenberge. Because of the price setting you are forced into the menu, 45,50 euro for the 3 course menu while a main course from the a la carte card easily sets you back 30 euro. However, we can't complain because the menu contains more than sufficient choices. The only negative we can say about this restaurant is that, if you want to go for dinner in a weekend, it's impossible to get a table if you don't book 2 months upfront. For2x menu + apperitive + wine + coffee we paid 140 euro

Visited during quiet lunch time. Service was welcoming and prompt. We've ordered main courses and were treated to a lovely crab/shrimp paste with bread. Great choice of beer and amazing food. We went for a children's crispy chicken, catch of the day -cod with veg and steak with great peppercorn sauce. All tasty and delicious. Highly recommended.

In't Nieuw Museum

Service was really friendly. They advised on the best beer pairing. Don’t even know where to start with the food. I was looking forward to trying the ostrich but they were out so I figured I couldn’t go wrong with the filet pur. I got it with the mushroom sauce and it came with a huge salad and a basket of fries. No soy bean oil used which is awesome due to my allergy. The meat is cooked right in front in a hearth of sorts which also makes for a nice fire place feel. I ended up not using the sauce on the steak because the steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection and it would be an absolute shame to mask the great seasoning. Had to be one of the best steaks I’ve had. Wasn’t throwing away that sauce. I ended up using it on the fries which was incredible. I would suggest serving fries with those sauces as an appetizer it was so good. The beer of choice was a nice oyster stout, Cassandra. The place is cozy and the service was really welcoming. Do try to get to this place if you can!!
