What I liked about this place is the staff are friendly and welcoming. A very warm and inviting restaurant that is reasonably priced. The food is just okay. They serve normal South Tyrolean dishes that proportioned very well. If you are hungry and cant find anything better this place is absolutely fine.

Our second night in Brunico we looked for this restaurant, a little outside the ancient historic center. It was quite busy, but it also features wide spaces, so we were seated easily. At the entrance the visitor understands the reason for the name: the restaurant is annexed to a brewery, which can also be partly seen through a hole in the floor. Some prizes obtained in the past from the brewery are also exhibited inside. We ordered two soups and two main dishes. The two soups were delicious, made with the so-called "gray cheese" (translation from the German of "Graukäse" which designates an traditiona cheese, typical of the nearby Valle Aurina / Ahrntal) and canederli with herbs.Less unusual, but equally delicious, were the main dishes: grilled veal with green beans and potato fritters (similar to the Swiss "rösti"); deer "saddle" with sauerkraut, and again with potato fritters. As drinks, a liter of mineral water, a glass of Lagrein wine and an excellent house beer. The price was 77.30 euros for two people: not excessive in relation to the quality of food, but not even low.

The place looks better than the food, but we were satisfied. The service is extremely kind. The canederli with liver simply fantastic. We can't judge the desserts, we did not try.

We were staying in Brunico/Bruneck and wanted a restaurant within walking distance. Langgenhof was recommended and we found it easily accessible. We were greeted promptly and pleasantly and had excellent service and to notch South Tyrollean food from beginning to end.

I've been coming to the Pustertal Valley for many years and I still come here to enjoy this place. The restaurant is very well located, close to the Biathlon and more importantly to the Anterselva Lake, a rare gem you should definitely visit. The staff is awesome, always kind, gentle and open to suggestions. They will make you feel home. And the food is really awesome: Arturo is a master of the barbecue and can prepare amazing food, aside from the one that comes from the kitchen. The atmosphere is unique, surrounded by small river, beautiful mountains and the fresh beauty of the landscape around you. Whether you come here in winter or in summer, this is the best place I'd ever recommended around here!!

If you are looking for local specialties in a scenic environment, friendly people, and a authentic restraurant, you have definitely come to the right place! It's a bit remote and while going there you may wonder when you'll get there, but it will definitely be worth the drive. If the weather is good you will enjoy the amazing view. You should make reservations since it's often fully booked. Interestingly, while the food is mostly traditional Tyrolean, most of the guests the we have seen while there (we have been the 4 times), are mostly Italians from further south, people that are used to a very different kitchen and traditions. But like us, they find it worth while coming here. It has become a tradition for us to eat here every year when we're here on vacation. and we have never been disappointed, so give it a try!
