The most beautiful thing about this restaurant is the welcome one gets at the door. A warm & welcoming Italian reception. You feel as you have just entered Mama's kitchen.Food is good and service is fantastic.It seems that most of the clients are locals, which is always a good sign. However most seem to be ordering the pizza rather than other dishes off the menu. My meal was respectable, but not outstanding. What a incredible restaurant Garum is !! The whole experience was outstanding, the food is very tasty, we had octopus carpaccio with roasted nuts and shrimp with mozzarella as antipasti. The ingredients are simple and fresh and yet the chef created little magic ! We chose to share the primi piatti of the day, it was ravioli with basilicum and a cheese of which I do not remember the name, again delicious. My boyfriend and myself took each a secondari piatti, meat for him and plate of the day for me, it was sea bass. We were amazed and impressed once again. Finally the waiter, a very kind man, understood the discovery mood we were in and proposed us to choose the desserts for us. He came back with desserts made by a bakery from Pompeii (Gabbiano), we had a big âRocherâ and âmousse de cafeâ, what a delight for the sweet tooth and non-sweet tooth. My boyfriend being not a dessert person, asked a third dessert. The wine card is very big and diverse, we both had the wine of the house - white & red - according to the course. Finally, the service was perfect, we had one kind man taking care of our table from our arrival. He was very thoughtful and professional. Thank you Garum for the exceptional experience !

Fantastic place for good pizza at a reasonable price. The pizzas are huge, so if youâre not too hungry, I would suggest sharing as they are very filling. Staff are really friendly and speak English. Gets very busy late in the evening when all the locals go out to avoid the heat!

This restaurant was recommended by my landlord and is near the apartment I rented, so I gave it a try. The food was poorly prepared. The local wine was cheap but tasted like vinegar. Server was very nice and provided a menu with English translation, but was busy with a large group and did not pay attention to my table.Prices are very reasonable but, in my opinion, not worth it.

The food is the highlight of this restaurant. We had the antipasti to start local top quality mozzarella, , the range of meats served and the quantity was large and very, very tasty. They then served amazing folded pizza called Panuzzo, which is a special pizza from part of the Naples province - it was stuffed full of pepperoni (I mean full of meat, which makes a refreshing change), mozzarella and tomato sauce and baked in a wood oven, of course! The meal was a little pricey, at over 10 Euros per pizza and the owner was a little defensive about this, but none the less gave us a small discount, the menu that night was limited and the end of dinner liqueurs were served in plastic shot glasses- therefore, there are some areas for improvement. The quality of the food and an attentive members of staff made it an excellent dining experience.
