Find out what Grill restaurants to try in Glastonbury. Generally a quiet place graced with lovely terrain for strolling, Glastonbury is very busy in the summer because of its music festival. Best known for contemporary music, the festival has attracted almost 200,000 people in recent years (whereas Glastonbury's full-time population is only 9,000 or so). There are a number of historical monuments to see in the area, including Glastonbury Lake Village, Glastonbury Abbey and the Somerset Rural Life Museum. We can't say that the weather is always good, but on a sunny day you can't go wrong!

A traditional family run welcoming freehold country inn, over 400 years old and still retaining much of the charm and features of a typical old british pub with the original flagstone floors and beamed ceilings, we are proud to source local produce when e
Traditional pub a few miles off the M5, J23. Large flat car park with electric if required (£5). Very nice food and a good selection of beers and ciders. The Sunday Carvery is recommended. Very friendly welcoming staff. Handy for Glastonbury, the Clarke Outlet Village and within walking distance to Nature Reserves. The pub has a Skittle Alley and function room and is dog friendly in the bar area. We stayed 3 nights but no restriction.Welcome anytime, lovely meeting you both and great to know you enjoyed your mini break with us,Many thanksRow

Pillars is quickly earning a reputation for one of the best venues in town. Set over 2 floors and a secluded alfresco terrace, the ground floor bar offers an extensive range of wines, Champagnes, beers, ales & ciders as well as its own brand of home brewe
Five of us had a really good Sunday lunch. The beef and lamb dishes arrived promptly and the portions are more than generous and very tasty. Desserts took a bit of time to arrive but we were informed why and when they came they were delicious.

Took my son and family to this quirky, lively and friendly pub on the Somerset Levels. Hugely popular and deservedly so. The staff are attentive, friendly and efficient. The Manager, Alistair is great! The Sunday lunch was spot-on. Great roasties and creative veg. Puddings were a tasty indulgence. I like the way they source their wine. All-in-all the best pub for Sunday lunch (and probably all those other meals, too)

2012 saw the arrival of Tamburino in Street, bringing the town a true taste of Italy with our wonderful traditional cuisine and vibrant atmosphere.Owners Domenico is from Sicily, where passion runs deep. No more so than the passion for food and hospitalit
I eat here as often as I can. Especially with my daughters (age 5 and 8). The food is delious. The service is exceptional! There's a wide choice of classic Italian dishes. Unlike the chain restaurants, this is good traditional Italian food. Everything is made fresh - you can see in to the kitchen. My children are always made so welcome. They are fussed by the staff and given balloons. Sat outside on a sunny afternoon with a glass of wine and a pizza Gordon 1921, I couldn't be happier!!
