The city is south of Saint Paul and lies on the south bank of the Minnesota River, upstream from the confluence with the Mississippi River. Eagan and nearby suburbs form the southern portion of Minneapolis–St. Paul. The population of Eagan was 64,206 at the 2010 census and currently ranks as Minnesota's 11th largest city. Currently the sixth largest suburb in the metro area, Eagan is predominantly a commuter town of both Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

This is the only restaurant within moderate distance to the Country Inn and Suites other than fast food. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The food was typical bar and grill, way too plentiful and surprisingly good. The interior of the restaurant is a little shabby with cheap, bar type furnishings. It's primarily a dance hall bar and during our meal a loud dance group lesson was underway. Not a place to expect a wine list!

Perkins is one of a number of eateries there on the southeastern corner of I-35E and Yankee Doodle Road in Eagan, MN. We stopped by mid-morning on a Monday, but it was actually very busy, presumably since it was Labor Day, Our wait to be seated wasn't long, though it was at least 20 minutes before our breakfast orders were delivered to the table. The meals, French toast and a build-a-breakfast of eggs and ham were tasty; however, the hot tea had that sort of taste that comes from the water possibly having been heated in a container used previously for coffee (just conjecture on my part).Overall, breakfast was fine. It came to a little over $20 for two, before tax and tip. Plenty of parking around the restaurant.

It was Sunday night and we stopped for dinner. Host was a bit quiet not real engaging. Server was also bartender but good. The prices seem high when you start reviewing menu like $31 cowboy ribeye. $16.50 for sandwiches. No Sunday dinner or drink specials listed. Anyway. We loved the âJakes Wingsâ very good. The dinner salad was lifeless. The shrimp and sausage chowder soup was as usual very good. The pizza we had was grilled chicken, garlic with spinach. The dough was perfect. But he burned the sliced garlic so that was very bitter we peeled those off. Solid place for lunch but this Sunday dinner was so-so for us.

Show your room key and get 10% off. I choose to sit at the bar. Stacy was my server. She took great care of me. I went during happy hour so got the Guacamole and chips and salsa. And boneless chicken wings. Chili to go for Husband. He was in route on a plane. Appeared clean. Food was good and great prices. Love there chips -salty. The Guacamole was also very tasty.

We stopped here after shopping at the outlet mall. I hadnât read any reviews and just took a chance. They seated up right away and the server was very friendly. The food was just outstanding and we enjoyed it very much. This place is a real gem and we will come back.
