Tucked discreetly alongside SH1, between the townships of Waipu and Ruakaka and overlooking the magnificent Bream Bay lies this great links golf course. With a reputation of some of the best greens in New Zealand this course will offer you a great golf experience which you can top off with a lunch in the very hospitable Linksview Cafe while admiring some of the best outlooks of any golf club. The course is naturally sand based hence it is generally unaffected by wet weather but presents the golfer with some great challenges and outstanding panoramas from tees and greens.
Tee Cafe at Waipu Golf club never disappoints. Great food, great coffee, lovely staff and fantastic views. Plenty of parking, sparkling clean toilets. Licensed.

I had the good fortune to plays a round of golf at this incredibly scenic, english park like golf course, and even though it was raining for most of the day, it was a beautiful experience. The greens are deceptively large, however due to the undulations and varying gradients, they are very tricky indeed. Some of the fairways are narrowed by the beautiful trees on the course, and it is definitely a track that will test your accuracy with the little white ball! The club house is large and comfortable, and the kitchen offers a reasonably extensive menu. The staff were more than helpful, which added to the pleasure of the whole golfing experience.
