Excellent venue and everyone loved it , hidden gem If you don’t want to walk you can drive to another car park and the views from there are amazing. If you want to walk further you can walk on up the mountain which is well worth the effort. Plenty of photo opportunities.

Horn Head

Horn Head had magnificient panoramic views in all directions. On a clear day you can see Malin Head to the east, Bloody Foreland to the west, Tory Island to the north west, & Mt Errigal & Muckish to the south. So this is a must on a trip to this part of Donegal.

St. John's Point

Located on a peninsula just north of Donegal Town, St. Peters Point is a wonderful, if sometimes wild, destination. The lighthouse is in perfect condition and also host a LOP (a large sign made of rocks stating 'Eire' a hangover from WW2 and Ireland's neutrality). Take a walk along the seashore, explore the rock pools or just try to spot Canada, as this is the next landfall for 3500 kilometres. Tranquil, green and perfect.

Great Pollet Sea Arch

Reviewed By NhojNilahac - Donegal Town, Ireland

It's a real pity that the local landowners have blocked public access to this wonderful location! I went here today and thoroughly enjoyed capturing the beauty of the arch however it takes a lot of effort to get there! Hopefully Donegal County Council can help this situation!
