We had a lovely evening meal at the Bullfinch. Our friend is registered with McMullen and, on his birthday, received a voucher for a complementary bottle of wine; delicious. David served us all evening and he could not have been more friendly, helpful and efficient. They were supporting national curry week and the chicken korma special was delicious and filling. The food menu gives plenty of choice and everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. Thanks to Bob and Mandy and their team for making the Bullfinch such a good local venue.Dear TerryfromSevenoaks. We have eaten here before but last evening we had a particularly good time. I think they have upped their game as far as food and presentation is concerned .Jade was our waitress and provided great service.Without being 'over the top' she was positive informative and helpful .Hi John, Thank you for your lovely review and I will certainly pass your comments on to Jade who will be happy she looked after you well. Lovely pub, amazing service and delicious food.....but just not enough food! Ordered mixed roast today. Half a carrot, half a parsnip,small amount of cabbage abs 2 small slices of meat.

Iâve been here a few times now be it for drinks or food. Iâve never had a bad experience! Went for dinner on Sunday, chose the roast beef followed by sticky toffee pudding, canât go wrong! This is a lovely Country Pub/Restaurant in the countryside some 5 minutes drive south of Oxted. The restaurant has great views over the fields. Good parking. The food is British/International, good quality and reasonably priced. The service is friendly and attentive. On warm evenings a drink on the terrace is a must. Best to book as it is popular.

We used to love walking our dog in the surrounding countryside and then lunching here. A superb pub and food.But it's changed hands and the first time back after that was a luke warm welcome and the atmosphere was not the same. Food was OK though.But then on Monday we went in at 12 to book a table for after our walk and was told that it would be no problem to fit us in on our return. We walked. We returned. We were told they were fully booked! I didn't even bother complaining to the obviously fed up staff. Not a happy place.So that is that, a real shame. We won't be returning.
