Wow. A great little find just out from the centre of Lille . A small menu of absolutely lovely food. We enjoyed everything that we ate. The service was helpful, informative and friendly. A really pleasant ambience for our meal. Good value wines ( the Petit Chablis was very reasonable ). It really is a gem of a restaurant ( modern, clean, fresh ); well worth a bit of an effort to get out to.

We enjoyed our evening in this small restaurant. English is spoken here and dishes are explained in detail if required. The beef came a little more cooked than we would have liked but the flavour was excellent so we weren't disappointed. There's a set menu option which we didn't really understand. We should have asked some questions about it as it wasn't clearly explained in the menu. If you are having a leisurely evening here and you're happy to have a range of tastes brought to you, I think it would be a good choice. Having said that, we made our own choices and enjoyed them all.

Located in one of the oldest streets of the city, La Fleur de Lille welcomes you in a fully redesigned, warm and elegant atmosphere. We offer creative french cuisine. All our dishes are âhomemadeâ, elaborated on the spot from raw products, fishes and fres
Everything about this restaurant was excellent. Most importantly, the food was superb. This was dinner for four and we all chose different courses. We were all happy with our choices and I have to say that we had a bit of food envy towards the one who chose 'Le Welsh' - La Fleur de Lille's interpretation of this dish was just fantastic. It was also sufficiently large that there was plenty to be shared around. The service was great too and next time we're in town we'll be heading straight back here again.

We hadn't booked, and were lucky to get in, but we were really glad we did. Excellent food, really good service, very pleasant staff, nice wine, and all at a really reasonable price for the 3 course menu. Really recommended, but unlike us, make sure you book!

I went to Kok Piraat for my birthday and had a wonderful time. The location is very impressive, and the decor and service are to a high standard. The waiter gave good wine suggestions and was helpful but not imposing.I ate a mixed poultry dish with a maroille cheese sauce which was really tasty - the sauce was fantastic, and the fries were delicious. One of my companions ordered a platter which looked awesome - I had a taste and was very impressed. The desserts were gorgeous - I ordered a kind of mousse (can't remember the name - see the photo) and my companion ordered a chocolate dome, both of which were absolutely delicious. Dessert was my favourite course.I liked that the restaurant emphasises local producers and suppliers. I would definitely come back!
