This is a brand new restaurant in Montagne. They still need to get their menu in more languages (when I was there it was only in French) but everything we had was tasty. Though Montagne is a sleepy town, this restaurant was suprisingly full when we went. It's fine dining and sophisticated servings and presentation. Worth a visit if you are in Saint Emilion in the summer and can't get a place to eat.

We've been past this place a few times but never called in before today.A sign outside proclaims it to be under new management but the outside of the building is painted (or coated) in grey, & to be honest doesn't inspire confidence in what may be waiting inside.But any misgivings we had were quickly dispelled.Inside is bright, clean, well laid out & very welcoming. Staff were friendly & attentive. Theres a variety of menu options. We called mid week at lunchtime & went for the menu of the day which incorporated several choices per course. 12 Euros 90 cents for 3 courses including a glass of wine (April 2017).The food was great, extremely tasty, well presented, well cooked & it will come as no surprise to learn there were lots of people dining there.Theres an old saying about not judging a book by its cover & it couldn't be more apt in this case. Great food, great value, great staff - & yes, we will be going back to eat again - I suspect quite regularly.

We were lucky enough to visit Le Clos Mirande with friends who live locally. From the pre-dinner drinks overlooking the beautiful countryside to the delicious three course meal, everything was delightful. Our young waiter was knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. The whole evening was perfect. Congratulations!

Très bien reçus, de l'humour, de la musique rétro à souhait en fin de service. Galettes et crêpes bien garnies. Du boudin noir et des pommes pour la galette, l'amourette en dessert, partagée tellement c'est copieux. Si la galette n'avait été si riche, j'aurais pris en dessert pour moi toute seule une bigoudenne, mais je n'avais plus assez faim. Même pour le café, on vous apporte non pas une tasse de café, mais une cafetière à piston pour chacun, donc de quoi se servir deux tasses. Nous avions pris à la carte car le Menu nous semblait pantagruélique.

Very high standard for restaurant sited on small retail complex. Open 7/7, offering coffee to excellent a la crate menu choice. Plenty of parking on the whole site that houses large hardware and garden furniture Watehouse type store and large toy shop. Food well presented and cooked. Would recommend booking on a Sunday.
