I booked this pub due to location and also when I phoned up the owner seemed really friendly and accommodating. The pub itself is undergoing some refurbishments but that didnât put us off.The menu was short and sweet but everything on it was freshly cooked! There were also some gluten free options for myself. We were very happy with our meals, they were cooked to perfection and very tasty! The portions were huge and reasonably priced too! There was a lovely little high chair also for the baby. This is a great friendly family pub. With a lovely outdoor area also. The only downside was no baby changing area but I presume this is something that will be done in the future upon the refurbishment.

Situated in the centre of a triangle between Ashford, Folkestone and Canterbury you'll find one of Kent's best-kept dining secrets. Tucked away in the quiet country village of Stowting, the 300 year-old Tiger Inn has a great reputation for serving the tas
We visited here for a birthday and had good expectations. However, would not return. Starter (risotto) was terrible, worst weâve ever tried, it was a flavourless, sloppy mush and we couldnât finish it (not even my friend who eats anything!). Main (vegetable pie) was edible at least but not great and a small portion. Came with 4 dry roast potatoes and 2 parsnips that werenât cooked so were inedible. Others in our large party were equally as disappointed. It is a beautiful building and the staff were lovely so maybe a nice place for a drink but donât eat here.

A traditional looking, privately owned pub with a large restaurant serving very, very good quality grills (with Scottish aged beef a signature menu item), seafood (fresh lobster another speciality), an expanding fresh vegetarian menu and many other meals.
Visited in the evening, candles on tables and a great atmosphere. Fantastic service by Brook recommending two burgers chef should be very proud of. Portion sizes were generous on a reasonably priced menu with lots of fresh local options. Service was relaxed but attentive, even managing to arrange the dessert to go as we couldnât finish everything - Thank you Old Mill
