Whether you are looking for a bite to eat, the perfect souvenir for a friend or member of family, fancy treating yourself to an ice cream, or are simply looking to entertain your young ones for the afternoon, there's great value family fun for everyone at The Worthing Lido! We have various children's amusements both indoor and out, making The Worthing Lido Entertainment Centre the perfect all-year-round seafront attraction. THE LIDO ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE Outdoors we have a number of great value children's rides, including trampolines, bouncy slide, teacups, flying jets and the Disney Express train ride. We offer a special wristband deal which entitles the wearer to use of all five of the main rides listed above. This is priced at just £6.00 for three hours, or £9.00 for the entire day! In the amusements arcade we have various classic and modern video games including Sega Rally, The Fast and Furious and House of the Dead 4, a new quiz machine featuring up-to-date versions of games such as Pointless, Deal or No Deal and Match of the Day, an air hockey table and various crane grabbers. We also have many variations of the old family favourite 2p slot machines, plus a mixture of fruit machines. THE LIDO RESTAURANT Feeling peckish? Then why not make the most of the stunning sea views from The Lido Restaurant while tucking into lunch from a great traditional sea menu. Located on the west side of the building, The Lido Café also offers a wide selection of hot and cold drinks and light snacks. THE LIDO GIFT SHOP Looking for the perfect souvenir for a friend or member of family? Then check out The Lido Gift Shop, located at the front of The Lido on the right hand side of the main entrance, where you can find everything from Worthing postcards to house ornaments. We also sell various beach toys and inflatables. THE LIDO ICE CREAM SHOP Finally, don't forget to pay a visit to The Lido Ice Cream and Rock Shop where we sell a large selection of rock, toffee and fudge, as well as ice lollies and of course the classic 99 ice cream. We also sell delicious fruit smoothies which provide half of your five a day!
The Lido is old fashioned FUN. There are trampolines, bouncy slide, and roundabouts for children, all reasonably priced (£1 to £1.80 per ride) or children can buy a wristband for £7 that gives unlimited rides for a set period. The rides are not state of the art 3D, interactive computer generated, they are designed for the kids themselves to use their imagination, and my grand kids absolutely love it here. The staff are outstandingly nice, ruled over by a boss who looks a real toughie - and is a total softie with kids! The cafe serves some of the best icecream in Worthing (try the orange sorbet!) at £2 for a large scoop in a cone. The arcade is again designed for children, with the majority of machines being 2p sliders. If you want your children to have a taste of what a seaside visit used to be - come to the Lido, buy them a wristband, and sit and have a meal or an ice cream while they have fun
