If in Toronto this is a must. Whether sitting on their patio in good weather or in the bar area or dining room proper no seat is bad. Very elegant yet casually comfortable! Have gone to this restaurant for years from their first location on queen street with the tiny tables and bread baskets that descended on your table from a small rope and pulls system. The service is friendly, knowledgeably and efficient. The food is delicious and beautiful to the eyes as well. Good for any occasion- romantic meeting, business, meals with friends or family or some other special occasion. They even have intimate booths for that Te Te Te! lovelove Le Select

Enjoyed our visit to George. We had a 7-course fixed menu. Loved every dish that we were served. Service was impeccable. The atmosphere on the patio was very relaxing. It is expensive, but a great place to go to to celebrate a special occasion.

Charming Olivier sets the tone for efficient and caring service here. He gave us interesting history and back stories on the wine and the area of Toronto where this restaurant is located. Lovely menu includes steak, fish, chicken and classic French items such as escargot, onion soup. Plus, a range of impressive looking omelettes. Table shared an order of mussels which were excellent as was the bread served. We ordered grilled salmon (daily special of halibut was sold out) and steak. The entrees were adequate but not special. The decor is old, and note there are stairs to climb to access restaurant. This 41 yr old restaurant is worth a visit.

I always enjoy my time here. It is a on higher side of pricing but we deserve to be treated well for the hard work we put in. If you are able to get a reservation, donât think about the costs but look for to the journey ahead. Itâs divine.

A great place: we were 4 people, and have asked different meals. All had great, fantastic meals. From appetizer to dessert. The wine list was plenty of options and the sommelier very helpful. And apart from that the view is really fantastic.
