The food is great and well priced which is a tough thing to find in Greenwich. They are known for soups and crepes. The soups are homemade and there is always quite a few to choose from. The crepes are top notch. Service has always been great for us.

L’escale achieves perfection in many categories. First off, location adjacent to Delamar Hotel in Greenwich offers in and outdoor dining and imbibing. Valet parking is available and professionally executed. Secondly, the decor is pleasing to the air and spacious with several different venues indoors and out. This is the place to be in Greenwich and locals and visitors flock here. Then there is the service....we were fortunate to have Juan leading the team providing expert and cordial service to our large group. He was attentive without being intrusive and made our meal memorable. His service was absolutely perfect from start to finish. And then there is the food....out of our party of eight with varied selections, everyone said their selection was perfect and best they ever had. This in unprecedented in years of reviewing dining establishments. Bravo! I’ll be back!!

Le Fat Poodle

My wife and I came to Le Fat Poodle to celebrate our 11th anniversary. This nice cafe is tucked into an unpretentious part of Greenwich, but it's worth the visit. It gets pretty crowded at dinner time, and the tables are quite close together, but the food is amazing! The fresh buratta with mint green pea pesto was delectable and I absolutely enjoyed my grass-fed filet mingon. My wife tried a white bean soup of the day, and she also liked it. We were debating between two of the wines (Malbec Ch. de Haute Serre and Primus Cabernet Savignon, went with our instinct (Malbec) and the waiter insisted we try the other one too as it was very good. He explained it in such a colorful way, that, after trying a sip, we had to get the Primus instead. Service was excellent, but the atmosphere was a bit loud with so many people and the dishes clanging in the kitchen. Still goes into one of my top 10 restaurants of Fairfield County though!
