Deibert Park is one of the finest parks anywhere. There is ample walking trails, ponds, wildlife and room to distance from other people. You can walk in the shade or in the sun. Kudos to The City of Florence and the excellent Park employees for keeping it in pristine condition.

Anytime near Florence, AL, this memorial is a must do! There is amazing history of the late Mr. Hendrix and how he built this wall to commemorate his grandmother and her Trail of Tears journey.

The restored space in the heart of flourishing downtown Florence, Alabama is the perfect combination of industrial-modern, meets Southern chic, with exposed beams, a large wooden stage, and dreamy, modern chandeliers. This event space is the ideal backdrop for wedding ceremonies, receptions, dinner parties, concerts, and more. The 5000 square ft. venue can be transformed for any celebration!
We stopped for a beer before dinner after seeing the two music studios in town. It was a perfect break -- good beer, friendly bartender to chat with. The brewmaster came out with a bag of newly arrived hops, very excited about the aroma and his plans for brews. So we heard a little about that too, which was fun. The hops were fabulous!
