Only 40 minutes south of the San Ysidro/San Diego border, this lovely small town has it all! A variety of places to stay, with the historic Rosarito Beach Hotel standing out, you can eat fancy or cheap and all of it good and fairly priced! Want California Fusion Cuisine? Try Susanna's! Fabulous tacos...most anywhere "on the street." Sensational Mole? We love Cazuela de Mole. You can't stay long enough to eat all the good food! Great wide sand beach, fun drinking spots! What else could you ask for? GO!

Chula Vista Bayside Park

This park has special meaning to me. I did a hydrographic survey in 1981 before it was built, had my wedding ceremony here in 2000 and in 2019 showed my custom hotrod with my car club “South Bay Cruisers at the park. It’s a nice place to watch sunsets, ride your bike around or just chill out. It is 2 miles from my home. It’s a short distance from Interstate 5, and seems a world away from the highway. Stroll, sit or jog , it’s a peaceful place.
