Where can you find breathtaking waterfalls, glowing natural pools, and mind-boggling rock formations? Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park. Located in the center of Brazil, the park is known for its trails (Sete Quedas, dos Saltos, dos Cânions, and da Seriema) where visitors can walk among nature while taking in toucans, armadillos, and other native wildlife. Framed by sun-dappled trees and pooling deep emerald water, the roaring Prata and Santa Bárbara falls are other destinations that can’t be missed.

Located in the State of Goiás, 250 km (about 150 miles) from Brasília and 500 Km (about 300 miles) from Goiânia.
Unique National Park set in the Brazilian Cerrado Bioma, with bushy scrubs and grasslands, with many beautiful waterfalls, spectacular mainly during the rainy season (December - March). Enjoy the waterfalls and their pools while the red/green macaus fly over you in pairs against a fantastic blue sky.

The waterfall of Salto do Rio Preto is about 120 meters high and is within the National Park. Next, we can take a bath in the waterfall of Garimpão, which has a fall of 80 meters. On the way there are 5 km of trail, mostly descending.

The Carioquinhas waterfall has natural pools scattered all over the place. It is the perfect place to relax, sunbathe and swim. We spent the day in the National Park and also visited the incredible rock formations of Rio Preto Canyon II, which is a huge crevice between two rocks. There are 11 km of trail in total.
