This is a paved trail. It covers over 20 miles between Apex and Durham. It was how they transported tobacco leaves to markets. It's a lively peaceful walk and you can do any part of it.

The is a lovely neighborhood park that we go to often. 2 circular trails, 1 goes around the large pond. Looks for the turtles, ducks, and other wild life in the pond.. Second Trail veer's out from the pond to go around the open fields. Plenty of covered picnic areas, Several small playgrounds and one large playground for the kids! Plenty of shaded parking too!
