This is just the food tour we were looking for! We've done the old town walking tour. We've tried the touristy burek and cevapi places, and we wanted to know a bit more about how the majority of the locals eat. We got that along with a little more local history and walking into parts of the city not covered by old town tours. What I want to do is come back and have a hands-on session making burek so that I have a lasting souvenir to take back to the USA. Tell me when!

This tour takes us in two of the most charismatic and respected winemakers in Bosnia&Herzegovina, both based in the picturesque wine country of Mostar. Family Čorić in his sensational wine tasting cellars Andrija, which are based on the rocky desert-like plateau, and his exceptional use of indigenous grapes as well as international varieties is a wonderful journey of discovery. Much smaller in production, but far more experimental with his unique organic wines made from indigenous grapes from Herzegovina, Josip Brkić candlelit tasting experience in his family wine cellar could not be more intimate. Add to that a selection of his excellent flavoured olive oils, and here is the perfect introduction to the fruits of Herzegovina, expertly handled. We have carefully created this tour to showcase the incredible beauty of the Mostar area and to introduce you to the best eats and drinks that the Herzegovina has to offer.

Rocky and his agency turned our rainy days into GOLD! His knowledge of the area and it's history, made for a great tour. Everything was personalized for our family of 5 as we made the best of some rainy days. He took us to the hilltop cable car stop since the cable cars were closed and created a custom winery, oyster farm and salt factory tour for us. the normal tours are too long for our 4 year old, so Rocky listened to our wishes and created a custom day that was WONDERFUL for all of us. To top it off, Rocky provided our final airport transfer and when we found our flight delayed 3 hours, he took us to a FANTASTIC local restaurant with a working Mill located on a beautiful river. He did this for no charge other than a delightful lunch shared with us. Rocky, thank you again! You became a real friend to us during our brief time knowing you!!!!
Just 35 km away from Dubrovnik (22 miles), the Trebinje area in Bosnia is a world of its own, completely different than the coastal area of Dubrovnik Riviera. Limestone hills, small fertile pockets of land following the river flow, flocks of sheep and goats grazing, and endless fields of vineyards will capture your imagination instantaneously. Let our experienced driver-guide take you through a cultural and gastronomical journey where you will get to know the country through its people, food, and wine. Why choose us? 1. We were first in Dubrovnik to do this tour 7 years ago and we have done hundreds of similar tours since then 2. We are all licensed and experienced tour guides/drivers with a wide range of topics we can discuss 3. We personally know winery owners, restaurant owners, and a lot of local people ensuring that you have a great experience without any worry or hustle. 4. Our vehicles are all in great condition, well maintained, air-conditioned, and insured 5. We love our job!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Croatia. Our guide was amazing! Everything was perfectly choreographed, including free time, and we felt so welcome and comfortable and well taken care of. If you can swing it, do add the wine tasting and the oyster tasting to the day trip. The oysters were probably the best oysters I've ever eaten, and we ate them with the man who grows them, on his boat, right where they grow. It was an experience we will never forget! Worth every Euro!!!
