Our tour guide, Princess, was good -- we learned a lot about the history of the Bahamas and we loved the local chocolates. But this was during virus times, and we didn't feel safe given that our guide hadn't been vaccinated. She said she was thinking about it. But this should be a requirement for tour guides.

This restaurant did not live up to the hype. The mansion is beautiful; however, every single item served - both food and cocktails - were overdone, over-seasoned, overcooked, etc. it was just all either too sweet or too strong or too salty; just too heavy handed. Service was slow. Also the ambience was ruined by a raucous group of drunk Americans cursing and shouting. Nothing was said to them ever. We asked to be moved to a different room. One by one, every table in that room asked to be moved as well. About 8 tables total! Yep, that makes more sense than moving the a**h*les to a private room.

I live in Freeport on Grand Bahama Island. I have been to Grum Ma's Cultural Center three (3) times with guests that stayed with us. I want to compliment the Cultural Center. Each time I learned more and more about the Bahamian Culture. The tour and discussion of the director of Grum Ma's house was informative and very entertaining. We enjoyed our tea and homemade Bahamian Desserts while learning about the Bahamas. It is an amazing island. The Bahamians are kind, generous and very hospitable. I highly recommend this tour and so do all of my guests.

I showed up to the designated pick up spot early and no tour ever showed up. None of the people working the other tours could tell me what bus/ride I was waiting for. Found a guy with a trip advisor shirt on, at this point it was 15 mins passed pick up time, and he told me to ask for a refund and that he had a tour leaving at soon and we could just get tickets for that. So that’s what we did. I would advise if you want to take a tour to just go downtown where all the tours are and book it in person or book through your hotel. Now I’m just waiting for a response to my refund.
