A gateway to the Blue Ridge Mountains, Blue Ridge is home to beautiful lakes and spectacular mountains. Part of the Appalachians, the Blue Ridge range was aptly named for the bluish color that is most obvious when viewed from a distance. Our group stopped by on a very busy Saturday afternoon, but were able to quickly get our beers and find a table outside. And while we were all a little nervous when we saw how many of the beers were IPAs (none of us are fans), we all were able to find something we liked. In fact, two of us are now huge Choco Blanco fans, and took a bunch home with us!

Was in town with my girlfriend for a fun weekend and found this brewery. The guy behind the bar was amazing. Very welcoming and interactive and had great suggestions. Each beer had its own individuality and the atmosphere was both authentic of a brewery, yet “homey” for family gathering. Well worth the trip and will definitely stop by again when this way

Bear Claw Vineyards

Life is busy, and there isn't always enough time to slow down and reconnect with the people that you care about most. At the vineyard, time moves slower, relationships connect better, and many smiles are shared. We'd love to have you stop in and experience the magic of the vineyard.

A friend suggested we try them and I loved it. They have a great covered patio, picnic benches or fire pit in the center of the vines with a little river. A great place to get out of the house and relax. They even have piles of games if you like to meet friends.
