When we arrived, FOUR employees were outside the building. A couple of them slowly filed in as we entered the building. Terrible food greasy taco meat that soaked the tostada shell.They were out of hard and soft taco shells! How does a TB not have taco shells?When I asked to substitute beans for meat on my taco salad, the woman preparing the food seemed irritated. There mustâve been less than a teaspoon of beans, much less than the regular amount that comes on it (and no extra to substitute for the meat). When I asked her to add some, she gave me attitude and a tiny salsa cup with a minuscule amount of beans. The menâs bathroom had a vile and overwhelming smell of âurine meets sulphurâ.Overall, the place was unclean. The cashier was the only one who seemed friendly and helpful.We often stop at TB when traveling but I may have to rethink that. I definitely wonât be back to this one.

This chicken in West Memphis seems to be priced for truckers and cheaper than in Memphis. I have bought the same menu items in Memphis and they are more costly. I thank this store off Exit on MLK next to Loves and they have a good crew. Keep serving customers well.

West Memphis isn't Memphis. It's probably more representative though of a greater America where most Americans spend their days and nights. A vast urban sprawl bisected by free ways and dual carriage ways, intersections and interstates, every store and restaurant with its own parking lot and a Wal Mart on every junction. I've always though of Wendy's as being quintessentially THE American burger joint mainly by its absence form UK shores for many, many years. Back in the day (the late 70s) a Wendy's i Stevenage was the first burger joint I ever visited. Char grilled, special sauce, root beer - it gave a taste of authentic American to someone who never though he'd actually get there in person. And so it goes. 35 years on. Wendy's, West Memphis is out in the sprawl, strip located, a hut in a wasteland. Service ok, food ok but really nothing special, service fast and that's it. I could have been anywhere, eating anything and the experience would have lasted as long as the memory of a fish.

Not busy during the lunch hour but extremely slow getting meal to us. Haven't tasted it yet as I'm still waiting after 22 minutes. Will post the taste test later.

ordered wings and fries. had to wait quite a while, but it was all very fresh so the wait was worth it. we ate in, it was very smoky from the kitchen. floor was greasy. they weren't real interested in refilling drinks.
