After giving up on finding a restaurant open with a table available we were heading back to the Sheraton a bit fed up with the sausage stalls at the Xmas markets. Came across this small pizza place which at first we thought was closing for the night but were welcomed in. Ordered a pizza each which was our only mistake as they are very big. I struggled but did manage to finish mine but the wife could only manage half of hers.All cooked in a traditional wood fired oven and a steady stream of takeaway boxed pizza going out. Staff were very friendly and very helpful.

We are traveling from the US where we can get amazing Mexican food. Itâs been hard for us to find Mexican cuisine in Europe! Taquitos Bandidos was excellent! The sauces are so great and the heat was what we were looking for! The price was just great too for street food!

For me, this is, without a doubt, the best burger in Zagreb. The setting is much nicer in Submarine in Radnicka, but the burger is great, especially if you add some ketchup as well. After one of party had been here before, we decided to eat here- this was the only reason we persevered after being ignored by the staff for at least 5 minutes. In the end we went inside and had to ask if it was okay to sit down. The service after that was disappointing. However, the food was very good value for money and the burgers were amazing! The restaurant is perfectly located for a break on your way to the Croatian coast or further eastern to Serbia or Greece. It's a short detour from the highway that will be rewarded by fabulous food and extremely friendly staff. If you can't decide between pizza, BBQ and Mexican dishes, then just go for a mixed plate ("plata") and enjoy!

If you are uncertain what you prefer for dinner just visit bistro Kaktus.Basically you can choose between few different types of Pizza, Burgers or few not bad Mexican stile dishes.If you are in more then few persons you can order different type of dishes and then share it in between.Kaktus is perfect for medium size groups and you will have a lot of fun.The quality of food is just ok. I would say above avg in the area and always on same level.A god variety of different dishes available ensure that pretty much everyone will find something he prefers.I'll been visiting this place on several occasions and always with family.The kids loved it and they always wanted to go back. But you know the kids ;)It is a nice budget restaurant in Velika Gorica that is worth a visit on lazy evening when you are not in the mood to cook at home.
