My wife and I stopped here on our way home from Destin. It was around lunchtime and the drive through was packed so we went in to order. Immediately our order was taken. They asked our name and said order will be served to us. The wait was very minimum and the food was hot and tasty. The staff continued cleaning up after customers were leaving and they frequently asked if we needed drink refills. I really enjoyed this visit. We frequent Destin about twice a year so this will be our stop when returning home.
For Papa John's Pizza in Daphne, AL, the secret to success is much like the secret to making a better pizza - the more you put into it, the more you get out of it. Whether it's our signature sauce, toppings, our original fresh dough, or even the box itsel
Ordered delivery of a thin crust pizza with wings and blue cheese dip. No garlic sauce and ranch dip. Called and said no sauce for thin crust. It's still a pizza! Looked it up and it's per franchise to decide. Mistake
First, you have to find it. It is not in a stand alone building but instead is in the Shell station at the corner of US-90 and AL-181. Once you find it, be prepared for the best tasting hotdogs or sausage sandwiches in the area. They use only Nathan's hotdogs, cooked to perfection. The assortment of toppings is mind blowing. Today my wife and I went with the chili cheese dogs. Delicious! The service is prompt and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Not your normal gas station or truck stop food. This is one more example of the south having better food in gas stations than the north has in fine restaurants.
I was told by some of the residents in Daphne that the chicken sold at Zaxby's is healthier and better than most of the others. I have eaten here several times and believe this to be true. It's nice to know that what you are putting in your body is good for you.

We have kinda decided that Firehouse Subs is one of our favorite sub shops. The sandwiches are always fresh, tasty and huge. Service at this location was friendly and quick. I ordered the Beef and Cheddar Brisket and my wife ordered the Meatball. Both were delicious. If you haven't tried Firehouse Subs, you are missing out on some of the best food out there. Give it a try.

I've gotten to go food here several times. I always get the shrimp and grits. It's good but I wouldn't call it excellent.
