Cheese made on farm. We are a dairy farming family now producing hand made cheeses and bottling our own cows milk. We offer free tastings, cheese and milk sales, coffee, tea and Milkshakes. Wine and cheese platters featuring local wines and a selection of our cheeses. Viewing windows into the production areas.

We stopped in for coffee and scones; they were both absolutely delicious. Also was offered the opportunity to sample some cheeses at the cheese counter by Chris; they were fresh, soft and delicious. We bought some Cape to take home with us. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The service was fast. We loved seeing the cows roaming free in the paddocks and meeting Maggie the resident old dog. It felt like we were in Europe!

Its a fish farm - you will catch a fish and pay a reasonable price per kg. If you don't want to fish they sell fresh trout.

Phillip Island Nature Parks - Churchill Island Heritage Farm

Reviewed By 619jeffry - Essendon, Australia

Churchill Island is a working farm, much like it was in days gone by. The island had Victoria's first European vegetable garden. The historic buildings make for an interesting contrast wiwth the comforts that we have today. The homestead dates from 1872. There's also a heritage cafe. Don't expect to spend all day on Churchill Island, it's rather small; it fits in well with visits to other sights on nearby Phillip Island.

Worth a drive up the hill to see the spectacular views to Wilson’s Prom. And the wind turbines up close!

Bass Coast Farm

Get kitted out with farm boots/shoes and head to the chickens to collect eggs in our chicken caravans. Once all eggs are safely away we will continue our farm walk to visit the cows and calves along with the sheep and check out any newborn lambs. We will walk or drive to the hill to check out the view of Westernport Bay and surrounding farms. In March/April we are harvesting in the olive grove.
