We had the most wonderful afternoon with FJ and his fantastic Border Collie sheep dogs! FJ was so informative and knowledgeable on both the local area and his shepherding skills!! It was amazing to see the bond between FJ and his dogs! We can't thank you enough and would recommend it to everyone! The drive up is also spectacular!

Irish Premium Oysters

We met our charming guide and the owner Jimmy at the IRISH PREMIUM OYSTERS . He had all the charm of Donegal. He brought us on fascinating tour of the oysters beds which he own . A great description of how the beds developed over many years, the ups and downs. It was most interesting to learn about the lifestyle of the oyster. We tasted his delicious oysters and took some home to enjoy. Thanks ????

This was a brilliant experience. We went as a group of 7. Another family grouped in with us. All the children got to take an Alpaca by its lead and walk up through the beautiful Donegal hills. The views were amazing. We stopped at a few points so pictures could be taken. Really really recommend this to everyone. John was a real gentleman and his two boys, Aidan & Seán were just lovely. So friendly and helpful. Thanks so much for a lovely afternoon :) Bronach ☺️

Lurgybrack Open Farm

This is a new pet farm which my husband and I discovered in Letterkenny two weeks ago while holidaying with our 2 children. This farm was excellent value for money and the outdoor play area for kids was fantastic. They have an indoor area for birds, rabbites, guinea pigs, chipmunks and a large outdoor area which has pigs, bores, a lama. There is also a small tea room and the staff there were very nice and came out in the rain to show my children how to use the large tyre slide. I will definetly be going back and am delighted we found this attraction as we visit Letterkenny quite often.

Castle Adventure Open Farm

Visited here with family and grandchildren and had a fantastic day out.Entrance Price was very reasonable at €7.50 and you could stay all day.Great mix of indoor and outdoor activities for all ages so if it happened to rain there would still be lots to do.Staff were all great, friendly and helpful. We took a picnic which a lot of families seemed to do,but the cafe food looked very good and was reasonable priced.Would totally recommend for any children from 2 to 12 .
