Came here last Friday evening with a friend. Galleria is such a lovely place, atmosphere, friendliness and professionalism of staff. The chef(s) work wonders. I had the scallops with black pudding and the presentation was lovely, the best scallops I've ever tasted. I followed this with the double braised lamb which was so tender. It was served with vegetables and mashed potatoes, all of which were divine. The lemon posset was also gorgeous to finish. Looking forward to visiting again as soon as possible.

Cocktail bar and tapas restaurant in the heart of Frodsham specialising in contemporary world tapas and beautiful drinks.
I so want this place to do well in Frodsham as it is one of only a couple of unique restaurants. The food and drink was excellent and advice on both by our server was spot on. However the seating arrangement was unbelievable. This was our first night out with new friends and our friend had made a reservation for 4, three weeks ahead of time. When we arrived we were told our seats were on bar stools, in a row, facing the wall. We thought this was whilst we waited for our table but no they honestly thought it was acceptable for a party of four to have a meal out together like this. When we asked about another empty table they said it was reserved for a party who had specified they didnât want to be sat on the side wall!!! We didnât know we had to specify as it was our first visit. We were ready to walk out when our server said he would speak with the party of three sat in the best seats in the house at the window table. They agreed to move and it turned out they were just having a drink. How could they allocate a party of four the bar stools and allow people just having a drink to sit at their best table. Still canât get my head around this. I hope in time I will feel like visiting again as I loved the food and the atmosphere but our friends refuse to go back and unfortunately I have heard other such stories since. Hi,Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We take all comments seriously and try to take them all on board.Firstly we are glad to hear you enjoyed your food and drink. I'm sorry you was asked to be seated on our bar stools if there was another table available. We do realise we have a seating problems and sitting on the bar stools is not an ideal experience for a party of more than 2. We are working hard to rectify this issue. We do hope you give us another chance and return in the near future. Many thanks Sean

Four of us ate here last night and we can't fault the experience. The restaurant is in a lovely old building which has been sympathetically decorated and furnished to provide a warm atmosphere. Service was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. Menu choices were fairly limited, four options for each course, but covered all the bases of meat, fish and vegetarian (also gluten free). It's often better to do a few dishes really well than a lot of average ones!We enjoyed all our choices..chicken parfait, roast artichoke for starters ( the artichoke particularly good,) and Cheshire pork chop and mackerel for main. Dessert and coffee also excellent....and the wine list had some unusual and delicious wines.A great find, we will definitely be back.

Read the reviews on Trip Adviser and decided to give this place a try- we were not disappointed! We both had John Middleton breakfasts and couldnât manage to eat everything! Beautifully cooked and very meaty sausages and the toast was the best ! We plan to come back soon for an evening meal and have already booked a Sunday Lunch to look forward to. Lovely staff and would definitely recommend.

Visited early doors Saturday 5th October with friends. Warm welcome on arrival, great table in the window, comprehensive drinks menu and the staff really looked after us. Lots of choice on the food menu. The starters were delicious and good size potions. In fact the Mixed Frito Seafood was enormous!!!! All four of us had a bit of everything on offer! The King Prawn Linguine with scallops was one of the tastiest I have eaten in a long time.Couldnât fault the place. Wonât hesitate to recommend but as I said we were there for 6pm and can only comment on our experience. We will definitely return . Well done all.
