Can’t say enough about this hidden gem of a restaurant connected to the arty hotel, Amor de Mar. Owner, Ori goes to great lengths in order to obtain the best produce from the local organic farmers’ market for her eclectic menu which changes regularly. I’ve tried everything here (recently moved from LA) and it’s all superb, down to their salad dressings. The mango juice is particularly good. Breakfasts are also delicious and on Sundays there’s an outstanding brunch. The homemade jams and breads, including challah are insane. A truly magical place with stunning gardens and ocean views. Don’t miss it!

We love Diquis! They make you feel like family (even though we're American :). ). It seems to be a favorite of French Canadians. The best thing about Diquis is the people! They are so kind and inclusive. The surroundings are natural, cool, jungle, open air, intimate and peaceful. They have entertainment on Saturday evenings such as karaoke or latin dancing. The food is always very fresh, elegantly simple and delicious. They take the stress out of life by keeping the menu to one or two choices. This is a great place to get away from the crowds, sit with friends and family and enjoy fresh food and life. Pure vida!Thanks very much your nice words. This fine dining restaurant (Citrus) opens for breakfast as Kofe. I ate here twice on my visit, once with friends and once for business. Both experiences were great with good service and great food quality. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed eating here which was a cut above much Costa Rican eating. The home made ravioli was fantastic as was the other things we tried. Atmosphere and setting were fabulous and a really pleasant vibe, helped by the friendliness of the French owners. Not especially cheap but a great place for a special meal

I would have given it a higher rating because my family enjoyed their entrees very much (sushi bowl, very generous serving of mussels, and the salmon). The croquetas and Vietnamese rolls were delicious too. I appreciated the GF options for my daughter as well. However, my octopus entree was so poorly prepared I couldn’t even look at the quinoa dish or the kalamata tapenade after tasting the octopus. The octopus was not placed on the hot grill after being tenderized. It was missing the charred texture so it was slimey in the mouth and very unappealing. I would have sent it back but we had already waited for our meal for so long that I gave up and tried to eat around it. Unfortunately, the party of 8 seated well after we had arrived and ordered our meal was served before us. Not sure why but it was frustrating as it delayed our own meal. I wanted to love this restaurant - the place is beautiful and the ambiance lovely - but that slimey octopus ruined my entire evening. We found our dinner at Helioconda more enjoyable and delicious with a more local flair and without the unnecessary fanciness (and pricey tab) of Citrus. We can get that - and better octopus - at home in New York City.

This restaurant is special!!! Make reservations ahead of time. We were there for an anniversary and 4 of us enjoyed every moment. The ambience is very romantic, candle light, soft music. The food was outstanding. Filet mignon, sea food. Simple sundress for women. Casual attire (not beachwear) for men. The menu is extensive .
