Donderdag 7 novemberNet thuis na een bezoek aan Puur Ted. Het was fantastisch om hier te genieten van het heerlijke eten en de gezellige sfeer. Heel bijzonder.Ted bedankt.Je ziet ons terug !

Er was online gereserveerd maar dit was niet opgemerkt. De vloer was vuil, er werd snel een doekje over de tafel gehaald ,die was vuil en de serveerster annex kok haar kleding was ook erg vuil. Ze kwam tot 2x toe terug om aan te geven dat het bestelde er niet was. Tot slot nog een lange haar in mijn broodje.Wat we hebben gegeten was overigens wel erg lekker en het broodje heeft ze ter compensatie niet in rekening gebracht.Conclusie, dit was eens ....maar nooit meer. Helaas.

Om te wachten tot de files voorbij waren, kwamen mijn vriendin en ik hier terecht, toen we een plekje zochten om wat te drinken. Vriendelijke bediening, koude drankjes en een gezellig terras. Wij willen zeker een keer terugkomen om iets te gaan eten, want de dinerkaart zag er heel goed uit!

A lovely spot for lunch Al Fresco; friendly staff who like a little 'dutch style joke' and are happy to serve away. A light snack was just what was required and the Apple pie desert was to die for - it became the benchmark for the rest of our Netherlands tour - top class.

The three course dinner (at €36,50) proved decent, but as seasoned big-city diner I was not particularly impressed by any of the dishes, or by the amuse, for that matter. Several wines are served by the glass (from €4) -- nice! Tap water is complimentary, unlike pre-course bread. When we ate there, on a Saturday evening, it was busy, and although we were courteously served, by our standards it all took too long.This must be one of the better restaurants in the area, but judging by more severe standards, I don't consider this good enough.

This is a very nice restaurant, helpful service and a good place to rest after a nice long walk or ride along the river Linge.
