We went here last Sunday. The menu is very reasonable pricewise, and includes salads. The crepes were substantial and very tasty, although one of our party thought the chorizo had been scrimped on. Otherwise everything was perfect. The desert crepe menu was no less impressive. Definitely a place to visit if driving around Gisors.

Monarch is a bit unusual in its physical layout and its menu offerings... We nonetheless have had good experience during family visits in Normandy and appreciate the restaurants hours and opening days when no, or few alternatives exist. The food is acceptable, beef fondue quite good with generous serving of 'frites' to accompany.

Italian restaurant with authentic gourmet cuisine HOMEMADE . A refined and warm with 2 spaces, 1 veranda and 1 terrace for 4 different atmospheres.
We ate here. It was a very nice restaurant. The staff were very friendly. It was clean, spacious, well lit. I ordered the steak carbonara which was very novel I thought. It came quite quickly. The sauce was great, excellent combination. Unfortunately the steak was pretty much raw even though I ordered medium and it got more raw towards the end by which point I had already eaten half so didn't send it back. My mum's meal was cold and she did send it back and they cheerfully heated it up. Maybe don't be too impatient to bring food out. Make sure it is ready!

We ended up here because it was one of only two restaurants open on Monday, and was in reasonably close walking distance to the hotel. It is a decidedly casual place, with lots of space, kind of fun decor, and an upbeat atmosphere. The waitstaff was attentive and patient even though they seemed a bit short-staffed.The food was unremarkable but good, reflecting more competence than inspiration; but that was fine. I would recommend this restaurant for a large group of people who are more interested in the company than the food - the food won't make the meal, but neither will it detract from it.

Dining room with fireplace. Smoking room and non-smoking room. The restaurant has two entrances and is accessible for handicapped people. Parking next to the building.
The restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly. The dishes we ordered were very good: very tasty and the portions were, at least for us, satisfying. We would definitely return here again if we happened to be in the area.
