Although the place looked like average beach club restaurant, the food was really delicious. There were many locals eating there, which is always a good sign.portion are big, service is OK and prices are really fair for the size of portions and quality of food. Beware of the reposo (local siesta) which starts at 2.30pm!

Nothing amazing about the food or the environment. We ordered two spaghetti allo scoglio and two pizzas for the children. We arrived early and only a few of the tables where occupied. The two pasta dishes arrived very quickly but unfortunately the pizzas for the children didn't arrive until long after we had finished our pasta. The pizzas when they did arrive were good. The pasta wasn't great and I wouldn't order it again. We ordered the fresh fish dish of the day - paranza fritta - which turned out to be good and saved the meal. When the restaurant was full the service wasn't great. We ordered a second bottle of water with our fish which arrived long after we had finished despite a few reminders.

The place is in the center of the walking area of Follonica. It looks very nice from outside and has tables outside too, very pleasant in summer evenings. We have been here for dinner without reservation and while we discovered that food is quite good (we had quite a variety of alternative plates) we experienced one of the worst approaches from waiters ever.To be noted that service is commpursory in the bill or I would have refused to pay the service charge.Waiters are not Italian and do not speack properly Italian or other languages, or at least the do not understand correctly. We have had difficulty in making orselves understood and waited long time for catching their attention. When they served us they were doing it almost as they were doin us a favour. Dishes were handed over not layed on the table just becoused they wew not bothered to walk around the table to serve us.As we finished the last bite, they grabbed away the plates as to say..."move on fast".The bill came to us wrong (strange isn't it...not to our advantage in price) and we noticed taht also other people of other tables were complaining. So, as said, while the food is good, the restaurant should be a pleasure not a place to be badly treated. Therefore, given the vast choice in the area, I suggest all to skip this place and move on. The owners should think harder the quality of the employees and give strict directives on how to behave and treat guests: this is part of the whole restaurant approach, not only food.

In the Garden of Cri will return to delight in spring 2017! A positive environment, a fascinating place far from the bustle of summer tourism, although being between pinewood and seaside. The passion for cooking shared by each member of the staff lead by
I'm really amazed, we booked the restaurant just because it is closed to our hotel (golfo del sole) but I can clearly state it was the best fish meal I had in the past ten years. I travel very frequently, I eat at least 100 times every year in restaurant in many different places and countries and it was really a pleasant surprise this meal. I was with my family and we all really enjoyed it. Clearly a place I'd recommend to anyone who love fish food
