Having just returned from Europe we were craving another Schnitzel or two and with a deal on first table this place seemed like a great opportunity to try something new in the area. We ordered the langosh to start which went down very well- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. I ordered the jägerschnitzel and substituted the potatoes for spaetzli which they accommodated free of charge which was nice. My girlfriend ordered the Hawaiian Schnitzel. The Jäger was great- nice and creamy mushroom sauce and great flavour as always working really well with the spaetzli- would highly recommend! The Schnitzel was ok, just a bit dry and the chips under seasoned but nothing too bad at all. Service was a tad slow considering how empty it was but nothing too bad, staff were friendly and were evidently European which was a nice touch. Overall a really good experience and will likely be returning in the near future.

The service was really nice, they moved us three times so we could hear ourselves talk. Lots of parties take place there. Check it first so you are not disappointed. And not a good place for kids as most of the drinking is rewarded by some loud applause or bell ringer to incent others in the fun of ordering more shots with 1 liter beer.

Thereâs a special place in this mall we like to call our own. High up in the cabanas - an urban wilderness brought to life by local artists. Here the people are real and you can kick back and take your time. Itâs a place where you can always count on a gr
Girdlers cafe is located inside Warringah Mall in the open air section upstairs. Iâve visited Girdlers numerous times as I love their Morning Bliss granola & yoghurt dish which is delicious. The coffee âï¸ is pretty good too. Iâve always enjoyed their friendly attentive service .

We came here on Easter Sunday.Itâs good that they have BYO which was very reasonable. We had the 2 course menus which include snails and the Camembert for entrè, the braised duck and beef fillet for main. They were nice and portions well sized.Overall the price was reasonable, nice cosy French style atmosphere and friendly staff including chef. Will definitely be back.

The atmosphere is good, but thatâs the only plus.we Had a share plate to start which contained frozen friend polenta hash brown dried apricots olives Berlinâs and French bread- so disappointing My main was steak but it was so peppery I couldnât even taste it. Chips were goodAnd we waited ages for plates to be cleared and were never asked if we wanted coffee or desert so got fed up of waiting.Sorry guys at $33 a mason, this was really under averageHi Wendy,Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. We have sent you a private message to get a better insight on your experience and where we fell short. This was particularly disheartening for our hard working chefs who make the polenta scagliozza in house from scratch and take great pride in each dish that is sent out. In regard to the $33 mason was this in regard to a main meal or steak? Please reach out when possible so we can improve upon this experience and get you back in for a meal on us!

We totally love this place, a small hole in the wall restaurant run by a delightful family. John is a very friendly host and nothing is too much trouble. Sonia's food is wonderful, beautifully cooked, unpretentious, home style Italian. We rarely stray from the excellent veal dishes though the pasta never disappoints. The vegetables are always perfectly cooked and the sauces are the perfect complement. If we weren't so addicted to the Bacio gelato we might be disappointed by the range of desserts - and the drinks/wine menu is quite limited too but to be expected in such a small place. However, Sonia focuses on what she does so well - delicious, generous Italian food. We eat at Giovanni's almost every week - it would be every week if they weren't closed on Sunday and Monday nights; highly, highly recommended.
