This cafe has just started doing evening meals and they are delicious! Lots of fish and meat dishes as well as awesome beers. The Prawn tapas options were particularly good. There was live Portuguese football in the back ground but that only adds to the atmosphere. Service excellent and would highly recommend for a different option in Basingstoke!

Small Independent cafe providing freshly made home-cooked food. Salad dressings, hot chocolate, hollandaise sauce is just some of the many homemade recipes! Artisan tea leaf and barista coffee. Family and dog friendly. Home baked cakes & cream teas. Morde
I have now visited Teagether many times. I have visited with both friends and family and have pretty much tried everything vegetarian on the menu. The food is freshly cooked to order and care is taken, the food is presented beautifully and nothing is too much trouble. Sometimes when it is busy there is a bit of a wait but then it isn't a fast food establishment and fresh food takes times to prepare. I go there for a relaxing meal or drink and take my time to enjoy it. There is a family area with chalkboards and toys (there are also baby change facilities) and another area where dogs are allowed, at the moment there is also an outside seating area. The brownies are amazing and every time I go in there are lots of new cakes to try. All dietary requirements are catered for. I have recommended this place many times over and everyone has loved it. I love the local artwork displayed there too. The staff are very knowledgable and friendly. This is the most welcoming cafe I have visited and is going from strength to strength.

Booked Sunday lunch and arrived early and were promptly seated at a nice table for 3 by the window. Ordered the Wild Mushrooms on toast with Soft poached egg followed by Roast Topside of beef cooked pink with all the trimmings. Great deserts and finally coffee in the lounge. Good food, value for money and excellent service from everyone and really enjoyed the nice friendly conversation with the lovely Stephanie. Will definitely visit again next time we venture to the South of England.

Côte is inspired by the brasseries of Paris, serving authentic French dishes all day in our classically designed restaurants.
Food was ok although expensive for what it was, service was very average.12.5% servcie charge was added to the bill automatically and don't really think the service justified that. The biggest problem with the restaurant though is the acoustics, I was quite glad to get out - which is a shame.

The Glasshouse Restaurant is a beautifully contemporary 2 AA Rosette Restaurant set amongst the romantic backdrop of the Georgian Estate, Oakley Hall. Although recently refurbished in late 2014, the Glasshouse Restaurant and it's extensive grounds preserv
Perfect location, excellent food, fun waitress ( M ?) from Liverpool went out her way to help and was on hand when we needed her. The food was great value for the quality and was beautifully presented. The Prosecco delicious Lovely crockery and glasses... only down side.. I would have liked a white tablecloth. Worth every penny !

A newly established family run Turkish and Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Basingstoke.
Our friend was visiting and said he likes Turkish food. Wanting to support a local independent restaurant we went along on a Monday evening. We visited when this place opened and love the quality of the finish and well lit setting. That is about the best aspect though. Firstly we were told by the woman behind the bar without given any choice to sit in the window by the draughty doorway. The menu is pretty standard Turkish fare and I prefer spicy food so chose a spicy pizza. It wasnât that spicy and quite overcooked which Iâm not sure is normal. Iâd say it was worth about £3.50 and not an eye watering £13.00!! The chicken and spinach dish one of us ordered was drowning in cream and looked like it was from the 1970s.Iâve seen the other good reviews on here so I guess the food is more to their liking. Our table waitress was friendly but the woman behind the bar was definitely not welcoming. We wonât be returning as it is really overpriced for what you get. The bill was over £100 with 3 mains, 2 desserts and 2 bottles of wine. I really wanted this to be worth supporting which is a shame.
