It is located on a headland in the southeastern part of Burgas Province and is close to the border with European Turkey. It is the southernmost town on the Bulgarian coast. Ahtopol lies within Strandzha Nature Park.

We had a dinner at Asti restaurant in September, when the season was almost gone. Even though, we enjoyed fresh, very delicious and made on time meals (greek salads, fish, chiken bites with thyme, soup for the baby, homemade biscuits cake and original tiramisu) pleasant atmosphere and good service. We definitely recommend this place, especially for families with kids (wide playground is situated next to the restaurant, in the inner courtyard of the hotel). No reservation is needed, even in the high season (as our friends said), because the place is slight away from the main street, hided inside the hotel.

Perhaps the best place to eat in Ahtopol. All the usual suspects on the menu but they do excellent barbecue meat and vegetables. Service is polite and friendly. Nice atmosphere and it gets busy so booking might be advisable. Prices are very reasonable.

Another little place well worth a visit. Itâs tucked away on the cliff edge close to the âGreek school â. It has beautiful views facing south towards Sinermoritz and the Turkish border. Service is fast and friendly and the menu is a little more interesting than most places.

This has to be my favourite restaurant in Bulgaria! The location provides an amazing sea view and the place has a really cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The food was divine beyond words. You can choose from traditional bulgarian dishes to all kinds of exotic sea food. Everything was deliciously prepared, the food arrived quickly, the staff were polite and keen to help you with your choice. Each week they have a different sous vide meals which are my absolute favourite. If you want to have a great time and taste amazing food I recommend visiting this place, you won't regret It a bit!
