Reviews on Diner food in West Palm Beach, Florida, United States. With sunny skies, nearly perfect year-round weather and a range of outdoor and cultural attractions, West Palm Beach presents the ideal setting for a weekend escape. Enjoy a game of golf at a number of pristine local courses or hit the beach for a day of tanning and catching up on your reading. See African chimps and endangered species like the Southern White rhinoceros wander free in a natural habitat at the Lion Country Safari. You could spend an entire day on Peanut Island, a popular tourist attraction that houses a bunker built for President John F. Kennedy during the Cold War. The island includes the bunker, a museum and plenty of picnic areas, plus biking and walking paths. The ferry ride to the island cruises past the opulent mansions of the city's wealthy residents. For those who prefer indoor endeavors, the Norton Museum boasts an exceptional collection of American, Chinese and European art. Famous performers appear at "The Harriet" and at the Kravis Center. Of course there's always shopping, the city's other favorite pastime. From designer boutiques to big name department stores, West Palm has it all.

Established in 1938, Green's isn't just another pharmacy. Since then, Green's has been serving tasty dishes and filling prescriptions while patrons sip down their milkshakes from the 82-seat classic soda fountain. Open 365 days a year in rain or shine, th

We drove by this place last year when we visited this area, but it was pretty busy, so we decided to visit the next time around. Well, it is definitely worth it.The area is just a lovely place to visit. The diner itself is pretty and appealing. Clean, fresh, and very pleasant place. Our server, John, a respectful young man, took care of all our Q&A and made sure we had a good experience. I ordered the Mahi-Mahi fish sandwich, and my wife ordered the turkey club sandwich. The Mahi sandwich, was great. No fishy after taste. No stench. It was perfect fresh. I told our host, this sandwich was difficult, because it is either good or bad, and it turned out great. I was pretty impressed. My wife's sandwich was pretty good too, so was her OJ, and my coffee. This is definitely a peaceful pleasant place for a breakfast or lunch, with really nice vibes and hope it stays as such.

Located in a strip mall, this unassuming restaurant welcomes guests with a flash back to the 50's - pine paneling, pine booths, and country kitsch. The waitress was warm, welcoming, and informative. The food was no nonsense, substantial, stick-to-your-ribs, home-style cooking reasonably priced - great breakfast all day. Ample portions needed a to-go box for leftovers. We ordered Georgia pecan pancakes (3 enormous pancakes with bananas and pecans in the batter and 4-strips of bacon) and Pot Bellied Stove (western scrambled eggs with ham, peppers and onions stuffed into both halves of a hollowed-out crispy baked potato skin, all slathered in melted cheese and served with choice of fruit cup, home frys, hash browns or grits). Saw sandwiches and a crispy fresh salad that looked yummy and similarly generous delivered to another table. In addition to the standard menu they offer a page of daily specials with many country staples like catfish, liver and onions... Service was friendly and fast, pay at the counter. Can't ask for more.Â

This cafe is huge. Many items on the cafe's menu. Cafe offers tasty food and great service. Cafe has two long counters to sit at along with tables and booths. Cafe is clean and new looking. But. Breakfast on the weekdays is only served till 11 AM. It is a cafe, not a diner. Can you tell that I wanted breakfast at 11:30?

We had heard good things about Pete's Place and had been to the location in Greenacres on a previous trip. This was our first visit to the West Palm Beach location and I have to say we were a little disappointed with the service and food. We ordered an over stuffed omelet and the Stuffed Pig entree for breakfast. We noticed the place was busy and there was a wait for an inside table so we chose to sit outside as the weather was nice. We waited over 40 minutes for our plates to be delivered (unacceptable). Also, the bacon that came with our meals was practically inedible. Not a good choice for breakfast on this particular day. We may try them again and hope for a less busy day when they can properly attend to their customers.
