Reviews on Diner food in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. Sarnia is a city in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, and had a 2016 population of 71,594. It is the largest city on Lake Huron and in Lambton County. Sarnia is located on the eastern bank of the junction between the Upper and Lower Great Lakes where Lake Huron flows into the St. Clair River, which forms the Canada–United States border, directly across from Port Huron, Michigan. The city's natural harbour first attracted the French explorer La Salle, who named the site "The Rapids" when he had horses and men pull his 45 tonnes (50 short tons; 44 long tons) barque "Le Griffon" up the almost four-knot current of the St. Clair River on 23 August 1679.

Was searching for a quaint little breakfast place in Sarnia so I checked with tripadvisor and came up with this little diamond A cup A coffee .Renovating the outside of the building taking shape lots of parking . We stepped inside clean and lots of seating with tablecloths on the tables haven't seen that in years. Waitress came up to us said any table you like with a smile .Drinks where ordered she came back with a little gadget that you can press for service or wanting to pay the bill nice idea . She took are breakfast order it came in about 15 min. 2 eggs sausage or ham or 4 bacon hash brown or home fries and toast for 6.99 what a deal and she kept coming back to see if we needed coffee and asked how are breakfast was. Was very impressed with this Little Diamond We'll be back

Casual eat in diner with full menu..good variety, including authentic Greek food! All homemade!! Excellent prices, friendly service. Fully licensed. Hope to see you there!!
We WERE regulars to this restaurant because we enjoyed the food. BUT the staff can ignore you. 6-10 min before you get menu or coffee while others afterwards get coffee and their orders placed. All of us have decided to go elsewhere like Cromwell Grill, Harry's or Jimmy B's

Located at the edge of the native reserve in Sarnia. This is a restaurant worth stoping at. Close to Sarnias Chemical Valley, it is a popular working lunch and coffee time destination.

Wanted to try this because of the high reviews, but donât understand why everyone is rating it so highly. Staff were friendly and thatâs it. My hubby had the beef sandwich, it was ok. I had a chicken wrap with French fries. I ask for the fries extra crispy and they didnât make it crispy, my sandwich was very bland. I had a tossed salad and they offered so little dressing on it, and was mostly white lettuce, I thought I was a rabbit. They offer a bun but the buns are those cheap ones that you buy and it wasnât even warm. I took one bite. The atmosphere is a greasy diner. The bathroom was stinky and peaking into the kitchen there was grease and grime all over the walls. I canât believe people would eat here twice. If we had found this restaurant in the middle of butt $# nowhere then I would have been quite happy to stumble onto this place, but we are in the city and there is way to many good places to eat then to be here. Also for being a small diner it was quite pricy for two people. We ended up paying $33. I would not come back here.

A Sarnia Lambton tradition for over 50 years. With seating for over 200 people, John's is the go-to for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, teams, corporate meetings and so much more.
Recommended by the locals, this is a fine place for breakfast. Big variety, well prepared, reasonable pricing -- what more can you ask?

I had breakfast here yesterday and was treated to a wonderful experience. The staff went above and beyond to make me, and my service dog Vitus comfortable. The food was delicious and the portions ample. I highly recommend this restaurant!
