Was in town for a quick visit and found this location near my hotel. The donuts looked delicious but not room after a great breakfast (huevos rancheros). The service was friendly and reasonable prices and generous portions big enough to share. I would stop back here again when in the area.

I've had the Florentine, Mothers, and Healthy choice eggs benedict plates and all were delicious. The healthy choice uses tomatoes instead of english muffins (man those tomatoes were good). Hallaindaise sauce was excellent. I was told that Jorge was the cook today. Thank you Jorge!

My wife and I recently had breakfast at Leann's. It is a nice little coffee shop at the Red Roof Inn. Our waitress was courteous, friendly and efficient; the food delicious. There are a few Asian-influenced choices on the menu and I had the Spam and eggs. The Eggs Benedict my wife chose were superb - perfectly done! If you are looking for a nice, casual spot for breakfast or lunch, you should give them a try!!!

This is a very interesting place full of antiques and nostalgic items, however it took 15 minutes for a waitress to show up at our table. Typical diner food, which wasn't bad, and about what I expected. The portions were large and well prepared. About average cost for the type of food they serve.

Fantastic place for breakfast. Great neighborhood find.My wife & I had breakfast here on Sunday after about a 2 year absence. Fresh coffee (and hot) while you wait for your table.Omelets are all excellent, Eggs Benedict is great. All served with home style potatoes. The service is so good. Everyone is very friendly, cheerful & helpful. I feel good just being around these people. It won't be 2 years before we visit NIni's again. Best breakfast in San Mateo.
Where to eat Asian food in Millbrae: The Best Restaurants and Bars

This is a old fashioned American Roadside Diner perfectly located at the intersection of two busy streets and next to Millbrae CalTrain and BART Stations. For those of us old enough to remember eating at places like this with our parents, simply walking in brings a wave of nostalgia. The food is not gourmet but roadside diners were never meant to be high class establishments. If memory serves me correctly, the current ownership took over the restaurant a couple of decades ago. Part of the charm is that they have changed very little during the years. Peterâs Cafe is just the place for weary travelers. We had been up since early morning. We had driven two hours to an American Cancer Society Fundraiser in Millbrae and spent three hours doing our thing to entertain the people there. We were tired and hungry. Peterâs Cafe was just what we needed. Service was very good. My wife enjoyed her BLT and the fries that I stole from her plate passed the very good test, they were very good when cold. I had the daily special: Chorizo Scramble Quesadilla. My mouth is watering just think about it. Yes, I would have changed it a bit if I were preparing it; but, for this weary hungry musician, it was perfect. I have noticed that the cost of eating at a restaurant has gone up a bit in the last decade; however, I would rather pay a few dollars more to be served than to eat at a drive thru. Wander in and enjoy the good food and good service at Peterâs Cafe.
