We had dinner on three occasions at the Restaurant of the Terrassenhotel. The new chef Richard Huth prepares great dishes with local ingredients. Everything was very tasty, original, very nicely presented and in some ways surprising as well. The menu list is quite small though and could be a little longer. The wine list holds a good selection of German and international wines. Service is very good, efficient and friendly. Prices are in the mid range. We visited this restaurant for dinner while staying at Center Parcs Allgaeu nearby. We were 12 people (6 adults and 6 kids) and everybody was happy with the food.

Family owned hotel and restaurant. They make and serve themselves. Food is excellent and people are very friendly. Has a nice local atmosphere. The location is in the middle of the a very well kept medieval town of Wangen im Allgaeu with a lot of house paintings.Parking at the hotel is very limited but there are parking lots in short walking distance.

Sehr nettes gemütliches Gasthaus mit einem Biergarten. Vielfältige Speisekarte wo gewiss jeder was findet. Wir waren 12 Personen und jeder war mit seinem Essen zufrieden. Die Portionen sind groà und sehr lecker. Die Preise sind im mittl. Bereich. Der Gastraum ist sehr gemütlich, auch für Familienfeiern ist genug Platz. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

We were set to eat at the Bio alder restaurant in Vogt but the menu was all in German and very pricey. We stumble over that family run restaurant who gave us a menu in English, explained everything we wanted to know about the food and we had an excellent dinner. Not pricey at all. Everything fresh and tasty. We had a breaded chicken breast with salad and home-made pasta and veal which has been cooked with pepper in the oven. Both dishes were served with different creamy sauces on the side. Meat was Very tender. Beer was good too. If you just want to have a nice hearty meal right for your pocket, skip the fancy bio restaurant and go straight to this place.

As the name implies it is a Cafe. However you can also receive other fare if you feel like it. It is normally very crowded.
